Yes, I just played one of @linux_penguin s’ contracts.

Huh. Well, that’s a very nice find. I wonder what other kind of side-dialogue has gone overlooked so far.

Slapdash SMG is an own kill method. Too bad not all SMGs have that. Could be so much more fun to force loud eliminations in Contract Mode (without too much complications).

This will add very well to exclusive contracts, next to Explosive Pen, Bat Shuriken, Ice Pick and White Katana. :sunglasses:

the snail mine has a face, hands, and legs lol

slothsnail

it plays a music-box version of the Mission Accomplished theme (you know the one)

also i haven’t seen anybody mention this, but the Slapdash SMG seems like a completely new/unique weapon, along with the snail mine. Sloth has definitely had the most effort put into it

How so? It feels like a (great) reskin of the unlockable smg. I have to agree though, the effort is doubling each time. Can’t wait for envy!!!

All SMGs that have the ‘elimination’ option will be specified like this, Mr Urben’s been using it since H2 at least

Which reminds me, I should probably look into the new uzis that guards in H3 maps carry

47 has a magic briefcase. I always hated that he doesn’t have it on him when you start at the default starting location in Dartmoor – only to find out that you actually don’t have to pick it up. It appears as soon as you climb over that little wall:

I recently found out that Hitman: Blood Money’s Apocalypse is a theme that comes from a theme that came from another theme that also happens to have beats that were remixed for Codename 47’s theme. It goes Spinner (Red Zone) > Wastelands (AMOK) > Apocalypse (Blood Money).

It does make sense since the people behind all of this stuff (Scavenger Inc, Zyrinx, Eidos, IO, Jesper Kyd and the employees that moved between these companies) are are all closely connected in different ways. Jesper Kyd composed all three as well, listen for yourself and you should be able to make out the sounds.

That’s an amazing find!
You can hear the Nos sumus, Magni eri, Munitores, Pyramidum from 0:24 for Spinner and 0:11 for Amok
Now we need a 4th evolution of the theme from Jesper

Nice, I knew about Amok after I saught out more Kyd soundtracks like 15 years ago, but never heard of the Red Zone one.
I listened to Fatamorgana, a game which the filename for says “MR” on my computer, and something called “Reactor” but none of these seem to feature familiar themes; they’re probably most similar in style to the actiony bits of C47’s soundtrack

Anyway, seems it’s like the guy who did the music for Dexter: what became the “Blood Theme” (Credits song) was actually something he came up with for an unrelated film in the 90s that no-one saw, but he figured “It’s a cool song I came up with and no one’s heard it, so I’m just gonna tweak it and use it again now ten years later :woman_shrugging:”. Kyd must’ve done something similar, and I’m glad he did because it sounds great with the choir and orchestra in Blood Money

I remember reading somewhere, either from a forum or the old official Blood Money site that the track was made only for the trailer but they later decided to add it in-game as well. Made the right decision

I just found out you can keep sliding doors open by putting things on the floor (still haven’t tested if it works for normal doors too). Expecially useful if you used all of your disposable scramblers in Hokkaido.

That’s probably common knowledge tho, but for me it’s quite the discovery.

EDIT: as a side note, that’s how i beated the “Silent Ninja” challenge. No door could resist the Holy Hammer of Jamming.

Fun fact the microphone kill in Bangkok was something that happened in real life. Les Harvey, who died when he touched an unearthed microphone on stage at a concert. (Also the puddle electrocution mentioned in the Opportunity reveal is a version of the story where he was electrocuted on a wet stage). Oh and he is 27 Club as well to boot.

What are these, seriously. I was shown some tik toks by family members of people trading them or something and noone could explain me what they are. Im so confused at this point.

Shapes for backing or something?

Thats my only guess.

It’s a fiddle toy, just something to keep your fingers bussy.
