Cool, opinions matter. I like Sophia more as she imo has a nicer haircut and i prefer her outfit over Zoe’s one.
could we maybe not start objectifying women immediately after decrying it?
Don’t worry, we can go on for hours about Vanya being a sociopath. (Still like her tho)
Na! Were just sharing opinions @Screaming_Meat! Its a very rare case of people interacting positively.
Vanya’s biggest problem is that she’s found in Mumbai. That map is too crowded for me to like it.
Unpopular opinion time!

The WoA trilogy is the best Hitman has ever been and perfects the franchise’s formula. That said, although the trilogy is the ‘best’, Contracts is still my favourite game.
-
I don’t like any other Hitman gameplay mode apart from the main mission stories (I hardly play escalations, sniper maps, Ghost Mode, etc as I find them too restrictive). I’m not looking forward to Freelancer mode, apart from the safehouse.
-
This may seem a silly complaint, but sometimes the targets of the WoA have too much backstory. It was refreshing in the old games where they give you a couple of sentences detailing why the target was a bastard and needed to die…but nowadays we literally have an essay about their life story. Less is more!
-
Berlin is a dull level with a dull setting and dull ‘targets’.
-
Jesper Kyd hasn’t composed for Hitman in over 15 years and people need to get over him. Kyd’s music was great, but the new composer’s score compliments the WoA trilogy perfectly.
-
Agent Smith and 47 need to get rid of the sexual tension and just bone already.
I’m with you on Berlin. The level’s pretty mediocre in my opinion.
Hwhat?
20characters.
If all modes had free saving, I would love them all
Personally I’ve always found it spy movie cool vibe when Diana or whoever is doing the briefings on the targets, plus you’ve got to appreciate IOI time and effort to link the character subtly through out the WoA.
I’ve gone both ways on it. One the one hand, sometimes the targets have all kinds of info that isn’t the least bit relevant and there’s no possible way Diana could know it, like Alexa Carlisle for example. Some of them are relatively short and simple, like the targets for the bonus missions, or even when long, have info that’s almost wholly relevant to the situation the target is in, or explains why someone is paying for their death, like The Poacher as an example.
On the other hand, since you never know what minor detail might turn out to be helpful in locating, getting close to, or eliminating a target, and 47’s method frequently had him engaging in conversation with people about things that assist him along the way to getting to the target, knowing every detail possible could make the difference when needing to sell a deception to a stranger. I mean, it wasn’t necessary for us to know Noel Creat used to slip through dog doors, but you never know if it might come up in some context in a conversation with him or one of his men. It makes sense in-universe, but really, I think by the time they got to Hokkaido, IOI just got into the habit of sharing the targets’ whole life story.
I’m not sure if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but I miss how 47 would hold his pistol in H1 if you were leaning against a wall with it equipped. I don’t know why, but it just really seemed to let you get a look at him and how he looked with that pistol held up near his head, whereas now it’s practically hidden behind his leg unless you crouch down while hugging the wall. I know IOI’s stated reasons for changing that, but I believe they were misguided, and I miss that stance.
Where did they state it? Was it one of the IOI Monthly streams?
When they originally got rid of it, I can’t remember where they posted it, I think on their main site for updates.
I’ve never had an issue with Diana’s voiceover during gameplay. Indeed, I’ve welcomed it as a nice change to simply calling her up in the cutscenes at the beginning and end of a mission to give her status updates like in the old games. I didn’t like it when they made it so that when you play a main mission and she announces a target’s name, she won’t say it again for 48 hours, even if you reload from before she said it.
Having said that, now that I’m making progress grinding out Sniper Mode mastery, I find that in this mode, she really does become insufferable. It’s not really that she’s speaking, it’s what she says and how she says it that is getting on my nerves.
“Shooting inanimate objects now, 47? What are you up to?”
“You do realize that was only a painting, 47?”
“Shooting cakes now, 47?”
Hey, Diana, which of the two of us is the professional killer, again? I love you in the other game modes, but with all due respect, how ‘bout you shut the fuck up and let the perfect marksman with the sniper rifle do his job and actually call the shots?! You’re both being paid to trust his judgement!
Diana pats her thighs for her one liners and is the only one who laughs about it I am sure
She is “cheeky”, I’ll give you that.
For me, it was mostly having to listen to her close out the mission the exact same way for the thousandth time. The other stuff I could ignore because I was so focused on making sure I didn’t fuck something up somehow (which would’ve needlessly extended my torture) but then the outro would start… I couldn’t skip it fast enough (and one mission wouldn’t let me skip it at all).
In H2:SA 47 often contacts Diana on a level. Absolution also implies this with 47 wearing an earpiece. Know your lore
Very clever, 47. They will not discover the body there.
Oh no you didn’t! @Heisenberg, pounce!
