No, I am not. Just as not owning pets does not mean that such person has problems, owning pets doesn’t have an impact on what someone’s personal traits are.
In the past, I had friends visit and they didn’t see pets in my house, they asked why, I replied I don’t like pets and typical responses included “wow, you have problems”, “everyone likes pets” “how can you not like pets? That’s cold”. One ex-girlfriend did call me a monster for my refusal to own pets.
I don’t hate pets, they are just not for me. Unfortunately, my wife adopted two dogs without my consent and here they are. I just feed them and seldom walk them; my wife and kids mostly care for them. I am not attached to pets and I’d rather not own pets.
