We cordially invite all agents to a speedrun competition, Vinux Ascension, a joint effort by community members @Vicks and linux_penguin. This comp will be a 3 part contract over a 2 week period starting from 2nd March 2026. This competition will challenge agents to demonstrate innovation as well as their dexterity while completing the contract as fast as possible. We will have a prize pool for the top 3 players from PC and top 3 players from console and 1 special prize for the most creative/innovative run.
Compete like a pro, kill like a legend. From shadows to spotlight, become the champion!

Vinux Ascension Part 1 is live now.
This is a 3 part contract competition. 1st part is releasing today, 2nd part on 5th March and the final part on 9th March. Combined time of all 3 contracts will decide the winner. The last date for submission is 15th March 22:00 CET.

You have to get 5 star silent assassin, with the following conditions:
a) Kill one target of your choice with melee/thrown weapon, collected from the map
b) Kill one target of your choice with loud firearm (either from map or from your inventory)

Mostly Roulette Rivals rules applies but certain specifics are listed below
- Only itemless boost is allowed
- Mudshot is banned
- Gun lure is banned
- Cover aim is banned
- Tranq glitch is banned

- $ 50 ---- 1 x special prize for most innovative/creative run (PC & Console combined)

Probably stupid question but just for clarity is the third target just any method then? (I think these specifics will be really fun btw! like my favourite kind of Mini Comps)

All of them together would be best, although if someone were to submit separately, not to worry as the fastest times per contract can be added together

After several requests we have decided to remove the restriction of obtaining the melee item from the map. You can now carry it in your loadout or continue collecting it from the map.
Noo I had a good run recorded now I need to go back and see how much this changes things

*****You have to get 5 star silent assassin, with the following conditions:
a) Kill one target with lethal/melee/throw, 1 target with loud explosive, and 1 target with loud firearm.
b) You have to keep changing your disguise every 45 seconds (in game timer) until you exit the mission. Once you change your disguise your timer will reset.
For example if you change your disguise at 15 seconds, your next disguise change will be Vinux Ascension Part 2 is live now.
