Indeed, that said I do own some handmade Japanese bowls. However I’m unsure if they are friendly with the microwave.
Heh. Embellish that sentence a little bit, and you’ve got something very similar to this one sinister speech from a moustache-twirling Assassin’s Creed villain!
(Forgive me, I played the game recently so this is still fresh in my mind)
Made a pan with crispy rice, dill, runny eggs, olives and chili bits. Topped with some feta. Very tasty and easy to make:
The lemonade gets me to 3/4 of my daily added sugar limit, so with the doughnut I am probably at like 400%
Jake (Yake?) why does that lemon squash have the same daily sugar intake as a bottle of Sprite?
BC lemonade is full of sugar to make it taste good lol
Yeah but seventy five percent of your daily intake? That is a little overkill.
All sugar is water is like that. Hell even orange juice that has zero added sugar is still 24g in 8oz.
I suppose but still… I guess at least it isn’t actually a bottle of Sprite.
Vegan Christmas Dinner. Butternut Squash Wellington with roast potatoes, parsnips and other veggies. Also pigs in blankets made from pea protein.
Christmas roasties from earlier today, easily the best I’ve ever had. All credit to Nigella’s recipe, by coating the par-boiled potatoes in semolina powder before they go in the fat.
I had to fly today but work fed me. That was not bad actually. Ham tasted like ham!!! Then I had the best meal of the month at this place in SF. Rocca Ristorante in Burlingame. Veal parmigiana and a tortellini to die for. Plus bread… as you can see on the one plate
January will be diet and exorcise city, but today we enjoyed.
Why did I leave that chunk of bread front and centre of the photo? Perhaps too many drinks ![]()
Baked some banana bread. Turned out really well, better than last time I made it, and got lots of praise from the fam. Tastes delicious, if I do say so myself.
