What if Agent 47 is arrested?

I’m assuming this hypothetical scenario to primarily be based on the US, as its corrections system is so monumentally huge compared to any other country c odds are any reason 47 would have for needing to go into a prison would be there.

There are people going to prison without a trial in the US? That’s crazy. I could just plead guilty to protect someone else there? Sorry didn’t want to make this thread about the judical system…

I believe they’d still have sentencing hearings, even if someone did plead guilty. And I’d think they’d still have some sort of trial to establish (or verify) guilt. I kinda doubt Hb knows what he’s talking about.

Edit: I think some nuance of the situation is missing in the idea of 47 going straight to jail/prison without any sort of “trial”. :joy:

Hey, I have a degree in criminal justice, this is literally what I’m educated on. Yes, there’s grand juries for indictments, there’s arraignment hearings to establish pleas of guilty or not guilty, and then sentencing hearings to establish what plea agreements were reached and the terms of a sentence, but the overwhelming majority of incarcerated people in the US don’t even go to trial, or if they do, don’t finish that trial with a jury verdict, because when the evidence against you, or the prosecution’s argument, is compelling enough that a jury is likely to convict you, getting it over with quickly by pleading guilty in exchange for a slightly lighter sentence is often the wisest course of action.

So, in the scenario proposed, if 47 is trying to get himself thrown into prison deliberately, the best thing to do is to simply plead guilty to whatever the charges are, get the formality hearings out of the way, and then boom, he’s in. And that’s assuming it’s prison he’s trying to get into and not just jail or a holding facility while awaiting sentencing for actual prison. For that, he would just need to plead not guilty but take no position on bail, and the state can remand him to a jail facility for holding until trial completes.

Why in the world would you think that?

47 will never be caught! Even if he did, he would always find a way out, almost instantly.

Ugh!! There is such a good paid DLC just sitting there for them to rake in the coin with.

Back to Chicago for a hit in Birdie. Maybe in Chinatown or the library building only it’s not closed and it has regular people in it. Oh! Or the building from sniper challenge or the vixen club. I’d love to go back to chicago for a day.

And when I’m back in Chicago, I feel it…

He’d probably break out on the first day.

As 47 is one of a kind with his outstanding skills and living outside the real world, being unknown to the vast majority of people, he would probably escape the arrest ala Jason Bourne, or being helped by other assets (like Agent Smith in the movie) :+1:
