yeeesss another one to join me in fear-paralyzing-fascination
S+ Hardcore is where it’s really scary if you ask me.
nah S+ Hardcore is where chickens go to literally have a heart attack no thanks
I hope you had fun with your son, just remember your safety tips: "Do not and i mean do not spend any irl money on the game, i repeat do not spend any irl money on the game"
na you can do that if yoy want to!
i have a daughter and i scream that in her face daily as i covetously eyeball the doom guy skin.
ok, 2 hours in, ive got 2 of the medallions to open the big statue in the main plaza.
I’ve gotten a scepter and some c4 for god who knows what. I also killed the first licker because out of pure panic he heard me and started chasing me. I have also been pretty wasteful with my shots due to shooting a bit too many things, again out of fear.
god why couldn’t they have just kept the fixed camera style, it would make shit alot less stressful and claustrophobic
Played another hour and a half of Returnal tonight. Still not dead after Boss 1.
Explored every nook and cranny of Biome 2, (expecting to die at every nook and cranny of Biome 2), and somehow I think I’ve made it to the chamber just before Boss 2, doing pretty well for myself.
I’ve also had some extreme luck with finding health items when I need it and a great combination of artifacts + parasites. The gun I have is also epic.
I am so thankful for the Suspend Cycle feature.
Should I tell him that’s for
the third medallion? I think I’ll tell him. Unless he found out already.
I’ve got a few games of my own.
Fall Guys
I can’t believe it waited so long to start it; it’s so addicting, even though a lot of the games are terrible and I’m not good/lucky enough at the ones I like.
Mario Golf: Super Rush
Nothings’s more relaxing than playing a few holes at one of these courses, even if some of the greens are absolutely brutal.
Pokémon Violet
Performance issues, mainly frame rates that probably could have been avoided or mitigated by a handful of loading screens at key points (like Legends: Arceus), and typical modern generation slow beginning aside, it’s steadily becoming one of my top Pokémon games.
Resident Evil Village
First, my god, Ethan’s hands… Second, I’m very much enjoying the trip through Eastern Europe so far though I’m only at the castle (and wish Ethan would learn what a flashlight is). Also, there are many things I’d rather to do/with Lady Dimitrescu and her daughters than kill them or be killed by them (if you know what I mean) so it’s a bit of a struggle.
The Last of Us Part II
All I’m going to say is that this is another incredible story set in this universe but the controls and companion characters are actually intuitive and responsive this time. Also, I absolutely adore everything about Ellie and Dina’s relationship. It’s all pretty bleak and I’m sure it will only get bleaker but I’m here for it.
I got the third medallion and have proceeded past the first birkin fight, i also made it light which freed countless dogs in the garage. I also got a gem out of the scepter but i still don’t know what for
That I forget… Oh! There’s a jewelry box you’ll find eventually that it pops into.
I AM A GOD
Returnal – Biome 2 – finished in one single, first, attempt. (While also checking out nearly every single room available.)
I think my RNG in terms of health upgrades and pickups has been amazing, plus stat bonuses against enemies. At least according to ZG
Here’s the full damn fight. Improvising around a 3D bullet hell is amazing and terrifying.
Why in heaven’s name would you pause a boss fight, your first time playing it, to check on what my dumb ass said?!
And, yeah, you’re getting some really good abilities, but make no mistake, they by no means guarantee victory. You still have to execute and you’re doing that well.
Better saver the moment, brace yourself for what comes after Contracts.
Yeah its funny how the game they just threw together to hold fans over until Blood Money was ready, turned out to be better than BM.
Playing BF4 recently left me craving for some more FPS action, so I decided to finally cross Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus off my backlog list. I´ve made it roughly half-way through the campaign so far, but will leave feedback for after I finish it.
That being said, my playtime with the game got severely interrupted by none other than The Witcher III. I decided to install the game the day before the next-gen update hit so that I wouldn´t have to install dozens of additional GB and then downgrade to the vanilla version. I also just wanted to try how well the game runs on my laptop on the highest vanilla settings, so my original plan was just to play for a few hours to give it a try and see what it´s like. I ended up sinking 30 hours into it (“speedrunning” into Novigrad just cause I couldn´t wait to see what it looks like) before finally forcing myself to stop and start a new game without rushing stuff and immersing myself properly in the world. Honestly I didn´t expect the game would hook me in so goddamn much. I was originally planning on playing the trilogy chronologically, but obviously that´s out of the question now, as it would take me god knows how long to play through the first two games (especially considering the branching paths of the second one), and I simply wouldn´t be able to wait that long. So I´ll play them after this one. I´m also pretty sure this game will surpass New Vegas as my “game which took me most hours to complete the first playthrough”…
There´s a bunch of games I was hoping to get into before the end of the year (Yakuza Kiwami 2, Control, Shadow Tactics: Aiko´s Choice, Desperados III, Death Stranding, or Dead Space, among others). So hopefully I can get around to at least one or two of those in January before Freelancer comes out.
