Can’t wait!

Just only a few names I know from the list, I suppose the rest or the majority are some local bands and singers, but as a music lover I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful time there

Few more to add to the collection.

Shame I don’t live in the same city as the seller. I’m sure I’d step into his store at least once every week

The majority are not local. We’re just getting old :joy:. I recognise less and less names each year but we go to the park one day before the festival and listen to a song or two from everyone and figure out our plan for who we’re gonna see and it’s a great way to discover new bands and stay young at heart.

That’s a much better line up than last year. I actually recognise half the artists this time lol.

Highly recommend Billy Strings, Idles & Royal Blood if you get the chance. All are amazing live.

Have fun!

I bought the most important release of this year.

I’m hyped but cautious, since other recent lego games haven’t impressed people a lot. While this is a total reimagining of the format, and I like the funny cutscenes people have been posting, I can wait a bit and see how it works out.

I’m also looking forward to this. Usually the LEGO Games are very boring, but it seems they have improved on the controls and mechanics significantly over the LEGO Games I’ve played 10 years ago

Ah yes truly an insidiously hidden agenda. It is true that metaphors are gay agenda communism and media literacy is a tool to support the world revolution.

For the last two weeks I been researching soundbars. Normally I would have gone with a traditional hardwired surround system. That said my girlfriend isn’t fond of the idea of me filling the living room with loudspeakers. To be honest I prefer to keep it minimalistic as possible. So I had to find a compromise. I looked into both B&O beosound soundbar, Sonos Arc + sub. The B&O was limiting and didn’t allow a subwoofer nor extra satellite speakers. The Sonos was limiting in it’s compatibility with Android, as well as HDMI ports and the price wasn’t favourable.

In stead of choose the Samsung HW-Q960A sound system (11.1.4) comes with both an Sub and two satellite speakers. The price is around half of Sonos Arc + sub + two SL1 speakers. I was lucky that I found it on sale and saved some extra. Performance wise it rivals the Sonos Arc system.

Of course it will never be able rival a real hardwired surround system. But that doesn’t mean I won’t be able to deliver good audio.

Well, Food and disposals one-off objects aside, the last physical things that I actually bought were these plushies of characters from my favourite videogame series.

My photos of them that I made of one of the the art pieces of my community during the r/place event on Reddit. We had like 8 other artworks spread out through the entire canvas, god that entire ordeal was so stressful haha, we had to maintain ALL of those artworks, and through a miracle (or maybe it was just our sheer dedication?) we actually managed to keep them all good looking till the end.

Sorry if I posted a bit too many pictures.

Recently I’ve been building myself a little retro PC, something that I’ve been meaning to do for some time now. Today I got the last part that I needed

I might add a fan at the back of the case since it gets pretty hot inside because of the CPU and I’m still on the lookout for a higher end GPU than the one I have atm and also a proper “retro” case but all in all, it’s complete.

mobo: ASRock P4VM800 socket 478
CPU: Prescott Intel Pentium 4 2.8E
RAM: 2x1GB Kingmax DDR400 (DDR1 for the young’uns :stuck_out_tongue: )
GPU: MSI GeForce FX 5200
Sound card: Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS

There’s an expression here when someone ask what you can do with something that is clearly worthless and you reply with “I can do soup / borscht with it.”

In all seriousness, I can play pretty much most games from late 90’ up to ~2004 and even later without too much headache caused by compatibility issues. The current GPU doesn’t allow me to play DirectX9 games at decent frames but I can always replace it with something better from that period, such as the ATI Radeon cards which were far superior than Nvidia’s.

DirectX7 and 8 on the other hand are perfect for the FX5200
