Well, I have a new boss at work. Our old Store Manager quit on Friday seemingly out of the blue, but at the very least whatever happened behind the scenes must have been going on in advance as we got a replacement on Monday. Seems like a nice guy, heās just been promoted from an assistant manager, one of those guys who wasnāt assigned to a single store but was sent around various stores, basically filling in whatever shifts were needed. So the fact he gets to run a single store is a real upgrade for him. Wants to give us our rota in actual advance, holy crap. Our last manager seemed to really struggle with giving us the rota in advance and genuinely didnāt seem to understand why people kept getting pissed off when they got told their hours less than a day in advance.
Just really hoping this new guy is good and means less BS overall in the store really, something weāll need as November and December can be the 2 worst months of the year for us.

The past couple of days the temperature dropped to/around the mid 40ās (F). Whenever there is a drastic temperature change I tend to have trouble with my sinuses. I donāt even have to get cold myself - it can all be outside and I will still be affected. There have been years in the past where Iād get a bad headache just from the sinus pressure. At least it subsides after a few days.
And in other newsā¦ I got robbed. I was at work last night training this guy thatād work a couple of evenings and on my nights off. One other coworker of mine is having to go into surgery and will be out for a couple of months until she can come back. This is why we areā¦ or were bringing him on.
So, after I got off work this morning I go over to the store to buy a few items of food. I spotted something that I debated on gettingā¦ Then I checked my wallet to see how much I had. Hmm! Very strange that Iām missing a bunch of $20 bills that Iām certain I had in my wallet last night (it was every $20 bill missing). I went by Taco-Bell before I went into work, paid with a $20, a $1, and some change. If that wouldāve been my last $20, I wouldāve made a mental note about getting more money later.
So, when I got home, I called my boss and had her check the security footage around such a time when this new guy was alone (I was in another Rm working). And sure enough, he was caught on camera going through my things. Now heās fired.
And he was doing pretty good on picking up/learning things. Seemed smart. `Guess he wasnāt that smart after all.

Right now Iām visiting a poultry farm, seeing approximately 12000 friends of @TheChicken. Theyāre all so fun, except one who peed on my hand. Will share more photos later.

Just a question, if you learned it while there: Do those chickens have adequate room? outside time? any of them clipped or chipped?
To be honest, Iām damn sure this online-persona obsession has evolved into an actual love for the animal with which I represent myself. Been pretty interested in searching what local farm unions and branches use more humane/healthy/safe upbringing of chickens, if thatās even possible.
As for whatās new with meā¦ my theatre class performed our big āCreative Pieceā yesterday. Thereās not really a name for it, just something we have to build and write ourselves to perform in front of teachers and the other years. We were inspired to make a cabaret-style showcase, and wrote pieces based on how agonizing the process of Theatre School has been! 
honesty, itās been useful, but oh so very hard.
Our performance ran for about 40 minutes. The first and second yearsā loved it. (some were even brought to tears! hope we didnāt scare them too much). We also made this in the span of just under two weeks!! (Tuesday-Saturday, 1-7/8/9pm) for two weeks)
God, Iām so proud of us and weāre so damn cool. Still, somehow doesnāt help the demon in the back of my head quiet down about everything I feel I messed up or could have added to the final product, but I asked others and they didnāt notice anything different.

Next up, getting ready for our performances!! Just got our casting for Cymbeline (a not well-known Shakespeare play)ā¦ Iām content with it. Not too big roles, but theyāre decent enough.
We should be putting that on to show (like a real, 2-week slate of performances) in early November.

Putting these in my emergency kit with other power outage essentials. Iām set for the apocalypse.

Itās one of my many childhood games I could grab if I wanted to visit my parents.
But itās easier just to buy it off some person off ebay and avoid taking like a half hour bus ride and socialising.
