STALKER is also a good candidate. You’re always at the bottom of the food chain.
As for the FC series, FC1, 2 and 3 are the only ones that matter, everything after pretty much copied FC3, nothing original about them.

I’ve only played Far Cry Blood Dragon, actually. I thought it was pretty fun, with the neon effects, 80s self-referential humour, and the gameplay fit the type of ‘cool action hero’ look they were going for.
I tried Far Cry 3 last year, and it’s just too overwhelming and not that fun to me. (I didn’t get far in it, but what I played, I didn’t really enjoy)
The stealth is particularly annoying, I’m not really a fan of stealth in first-person games. Which is strange, since I think Blood Dragon had fun stealthy stuff.
This is…
Boy, I have a lot of mixed feelings about this. Interesting that they’ve converted it into a chicken vs chicken style Tekken game with super moves and all that, not just some ‘bet on animal, animal wins’. But also it’s cockfighting and that’s generally bad? Hrmmm ![]()
PETA is going to have a field day over this, just you wait. ![]()
For once they would be onto something. Cockfights in real life are ghastly affairs and Ubisoft are as good at handling serious issues in their games as they are handling them in real life.

You don’t even get to use them for crafting. At least when you shot the cassowaries in the face you could craft something with them (and the fact that the bastards have it coming).
don’t freak out but i never played it. watched the movie though ![]()
god, the hud alone was like:

fc2’s hud was pretty much all diegetic. you literally had to stop and pull the map out. really cool. no idea why they didn’t run with it in later games.
blood dragon was fun. very different take on the series.
Am I the only one that remembers Primal? Primal was different and it wasn’t a bad game or anything.
You’re missing out. Also the games are only slightly inspired by the book / movie
.
Those tutorial pop-up messages. Over and over and over again. ![]()
I totally forgot about that one until I googled a couple hours ago ‘when did they introduce animal companions in Far Cry’.
Only thing I know about that entry is that it has cavemen and controversy about copying the Far Cry 4 map.
Moderation, but knowing me I’d take two. Wait it’s a foot long. I’ll take one.
I don’t need it but I want it.
I know a few rotund vegans as well. They eat too much bread and oil. Carbs are killers!!!
Philosophically speaking I should at least go veggie, I have to pretend meat isn’t from an animal. My will power isn’t so hot though, so I haven’t given it a real shot in like 13 years. I went veggie for about 10 months when I was in the Marines. Then I relapsed.
no, unfortunately. just wasn’t my bag.
i know i know
Uhhh… Wait. What is that 2d ingredient?

TIL…
Going back to Sora being in Smash, found this interesting video talking about a lot of the legal issues that probably had to happen to make this thing work, and how exactly Square Enix and Disney licence their stuff out for Kingdom Hearts, and speculating on who actually owns Sora.
Update on this. I’ve left them after 1,5 days back then. But after a month of brainstorming I eventually decided to come back and tomorrow is my 4th day there after the comeback.
The main and great advantage is that the office is just around the corner from my home. Well, not literally (sadly) but very close - 7-10 minutes of walking, it was the main reason to come back. Also the money they promise. I see I won’t get this amount in any other place.
But the company (at least the department) is just fucked up.
Explaining: department is a technical support. There are 5-6 people there.
All of them are new. From 3 months to 3 weeks in the place. 2 of them are new since I came the first time - there is a huge staff turnover in the company, at least in the department. The company is not new, allegedly they are 14 years in the business. But how - is a question.
Thing is because everybody is new, they don’t know the specific of the work, but if we are technical support we should know it, the clients rely on us and want help from us. But we can’t help them fast, because we don’t know the answer ourselves.
I don’t accept it. Technical support, as I see it, should know how and help as fast as possible. But to solve a problem for a day or 3 days is unacceptable. Considering that the company is providing a cash program for shops and supermarkets. So if a client has a problem, they address to us, but we can’t solve it for this long, the shop can’t work, can’t serve buyers and… well… you know.
I don’t accept it. I’ll see how it goes for a few more and think will say goodbye to them permanently.
That’s the way the cookie crumbles
