I never worked in clean room often and long enough to get bad skin of it, I just was part of the crew that repaired the machines there. But I can imagine the skin suffers from it, though good lotion is helping much.

Oh well, thank goodness that I was informed my job will only require me to occasionally wear it. Part of the job description is about improving the efficiency of production line, so I can only imagine operatorsâ pain of wearing the outfits all the time. But I will keep it in mind, thank you!

So you know how my old firm kind of turned me into a burnt out husk of a woman? Yeah they can suck it. Got a new job!! A bit of a commute but I get good vibes and the pay is right. And if itâs not? Iâm not locked into a contract this time so if it sucks I can hit the bricks. Between that happening and the Fuck Mansion announcement, everythingâs coming up Bourbon!

I got some bad news⊠I wanted to write my masterâs thesis next semester and finally finish my studies. But yesterday the university told me that the professor who was supposed to supervise my work had left the university. It is currently unclear whether I will get a replacement for the next semester. In the worst case, I have to study another semester 
I hate university

What? That was ridiculous to have to study an extra year for such unfortunate incident. I donât know if different uni handles differently, but when I studied there, one of our professors unfortunately passed away. His student was then indeed reassigned to another professor, and her research subject didnât seem to change, I think.
Perhaps you can try sending emails to other professors who you get along with better, or that their specialties matching with the thesis youâre currently working on. In any case, I wish you good luck!

Yes, I already spoke to two other professors and I hope they will answer soon and I still hope that university will find a solution, too.
The problem is that the professors only supervise a certain number of students for their masterâs thesis each semester. You have to apply for a place in advance. And the places for the upcoming semester are of course all taken. Therefore I donât know whether a professor still has a free place. I just have to wait for that now

Shit man that sucks. I have no idea how graduate level stuff works but I can imagine itâs a bit tough to find someone with the necessary expertise to help you especially if your thesis topic is a bit more niche. Hopefully they find someone for you soon

Thank you well the topic is kinda regular, but we donât have many professors who can do the supervising; thatâs the main problem. So the few we have already have enough students, but I still hope someone will take me I guess I need to beg a little

You might have already done and tried that, but in case.
Do you have the contact information of the professor that was originally supposed to be your master thesis director ?
They canât take up the role anymore but they might be ready to help you, by giving you the names of viable colleagues of theirs or by actively recommending you to them, or to the university administration.
If you know any previous master students, ask them the same. Even better if they were the kind of post master, now doctoral student that were one of your assistant professors or even better in charge of one of your practical study group (they would know you and your competences, and by experience they are the most eager to help out).
