My favourite are the ones who tell us we should all go green and then they fly on private planes.
We probably shouldn’t fly at all if we want to go green, but certainly we shouldn’t fly private.

There has been an intense firefight in my city. Lots of gunshots for around 2 hours. Police helicopters flying low.

All good for me. The shooting has moved on. They already torched some trucks on the highway. Will have to wait for more information on this. Anyway, I’ll be fine.

I hate having a teacher that purposefully gives you the wrong hint to confuse you and make you second guess when you were right from the start. I already question myself enough to my OCD. I don’t need to gaslight myself even more.

I just can’t remember ever seeing a billiards table anywhere in any aeroport. I may force 
to play a game with me just so I can say I have had a game in the terminal.

Maybe. I have seen people load up on the snacks before they leave, usually everyone else shares a collective eye roll, but I have never seen anyone try to walk out with a bottle of booze. Well except a couple hammered girls who made sure everyone knew they were on their way to Vegas for a bachelorette weekend and probably should have been denied boarding. The staff noticed and stopped the theft

We are on a 4 1/2 hour sit. On our way to Tel Aviv 
for a few nights and then heading to Petra 
. The United and El Al flights had no good seats available, not even if we went backwards to go forwards (Chicago to San Francisco to Tel Aviv), so we decided on Turkish through Istanbul.
I forgot how much I love flying Turkish Air and just love Turkey in general. We will certainly be back in Turkey within a year or 18 months for another vacation. Last time we properly visited was 2015 or 16 ?? I remember the Cubs were doing really well and I brought the W flag and would fly it off the balcony of the hotel room and bring it to bars. Haggia Sofia hadn’t yet been turned back into an active Masque yet either.

Alas, we haven’t had any flamethrower incidents yet. It’s actually because people have been going far too crazy with their Lynx Africa and have triggered several fire alarms (because the deodorant acts similarly to smoke and sets off the detectors when people use too much) over the years. New students didn’t know about this, so we’ve had 3 Lynx-based fire alarm activations in the past ~10 days.

Finally on the last 2 mastery levels of the Siberia sniper map, and damn, this is worse than Hantu Port! I mean, it’s not as frustrating because it’s not as easy to get spotted as Hantu Port was, but for some reason, I’m either not getting the maximum points because NPCs I’m not noticing are dying in the prison riot fires, or this map just gives you less progress with the points you earn toward mastery than the other two maps did. Either way, it’s taking way more successful plays than the other two did, and I’ll be lucky to have the patience to get to level 19 mastery at all this week.
