that’s too much of a generalisation to be meaningful, old bean. i think absolution was deeply flawed on its own merits.
still, i can only speak for myself when i say i didn’t want another blood money, i wanted the series to evolve as it had been doing since c47. there’s big leaps between each game and they all retained that undefinable hitman quality.
with absolution, we got some better controls, crowd mechanics and the contracts mode out of it, sure, but it turns out io’s idea of evolution at the time was sacrificing the series’ trademark level design for awesome graphics nailed to a glossy ben shapiro grindhouse script. i understand how the business, market and hardware context played its part in this, but that doesn’t make it a better game, just gives reasons as to why they made those detrimental decisions.
it actually turns out i wanted woa all along.
Absolution would have benefitted from an ending where Dexter accidentally blows up Chicago to own the libs.
WOA is the apotheosis of the franchise.
it really is. like, it has its flaws, but i think we’re still a little too close to woa to appreciate quite how good we’ve had it.
These posts make me feel so old…
We finally got a couch for our dorm room! We’ve been looking for one for months now, something that would be placed nicely and fit good in our room overall, this one is really nice, someone gifted us with it so we didn’t need to worry about the money, and it’s better than sitting on a metallic bench, let’s go!
Nice, I like the leg bench. Was it included or did you have it already?
We had it before for the metallic bench, after a long day all we want to do sometimes is sit on a couch, play games or watch netflix while placing our legs on the bench press, it’s incredible.
Absolution had its bad irredeemable moments, and yet it paved the way for WoA. They introduced the new engine. They got their feedback on the gameplay and especially on the story… WoA really was an anti-Absolution at many aspects yet retained things Absolution did decently, and that’s why WoA came out so good
Anyway I haven’t been active for a while, but @Tiki2970 seems to be going on a streak here liking my old posts… Cheers mate
Would you be able to translate this into American… I don’t speak Foreignese…
So now I’ve finished my exams, and had some time to recover you guys have a Freelancer category now.

74 to 102 inches. 6.2 to 8.5 feet.
hey congrats. how do you think they went?
Thanks @Sean (I don’t know why this wasn’t a reply to your post because it supposed to be). Unfortunately, metric never really made over here though there’s different theories as to why:
It’s probably a bit of both, and a few more thing, but I prefer the pirate story.
Pretty good. Admitting I just can’t see as well as I used to be able to, getting an eye exam and getting glasses really made studying easier. Sadly because they’re “core” subjects the final mark will depend on how everyone else did since they’re obligated to maintain a bell curve.
So it is ok to be bad if everyone else is worse?
“It doesn’t matters how others did, you should’ve done good.”
-every asian parent, probably.
Bell curve’s for grading are an abomination.
glad it went well. with the glasses though, i hope you went full unabashed bottle tops otherwise what’s the point?
is that a common marking scheme?
Yikes, that sounds like too much of the outcome is out of your hands.
