Wow really? Stateside the curve grading or any other silliness can only help you. Like if everyone misses question 2 they can just toss it out. I have also seen professors decide the student with the highest grade got a 100% and alter everyone up accordingly. I’d be pretty salty if I got 90% correct and was lowered down to an 85% due to some curve grading sine wave magic.
Anyway good luck! May the grading gods be with you.
I haven’t been in school in a long time, but I remember bell curves being used. The biggest problem with them is that if a true curve is used, every student who gets an A must be matched with a student who gets an F. It’s fine for the ones who are at the top, but the ones at the bottom suddenly find that an 80% is a failing grade.
Well I can’t sleep so I decided it’s time for some cleaning.
Is this what a hitman does when he is bored?
Also my ex got married 9 months after we break with some guy from her country.
I have only level 3 of both one escalation in Dartmoor and one in Mendoza left, and I will be completely finished with all challenges related to H3 maps. I work only half a day today, and then I am off for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, so I will likely be able to finish them today. I have completed all escalations and challenges on all H1 maps, except the one for Kalvin Ritter’s yacht, which I’m saving for absolute last. I have finished all challenges for Hawke’s Bay. That means that if I finish the last rounds of those two escalations at least before Saturday, I’ll have only the challenges and escalations of the seven remaining maps for H2 left to complete, and just over 2 months to do it before Freelancer releases, and any other challenges like in ETA that are released between now and then. Barring any unforeseen delays, I’ll be 100% finished with this game by the time Freelancer arrives, and can devote all my time working the game on Freelancer only, and finally just enjoy the main game without it gnawing at the back of my mind that I’ve left things incomplete. I’m amazed how much progress I’ve made in the time I’ve had since knowing the Freelancer deadline, despite the delays I’ve experienced, and it’s just getting easier with only 3-level escalations left. I’m gonna knock this thing out!
Hey, I fully get what you mean. Every time I play H3 I get that damn itchy feeling that I should just go all completionist already and finish the last remaining challenges that I haven’t done. There’s nothing like that dopamine rush you get from completing all those 4000xp challenges at once, luckily I still have a few of those left…
Sadly there are a few challenges that will always remain incomplete in my game. I missed a lot of the Year 1 Elusives (didn’t feel like killing Jimmy Chen and The Deceivers for the millionth time), so I try not to open the ET menus at all. That screen filled with all those grayed out ET tiles that say “MISSED” in them, coupled with all the “Eliminate this ET” challenges that I’ve missed, they all bother me a lot…
What about Sniper Assassin? You DID get all 20 Mastery Levels in ALL three Sniper Assassin maps, right?
Sorry Heisenberg, they may not count as challenges, but as long as you haven’t tediously grinded all 60 levels and gotten those 3 rifles to Perfection, your game shall remain eternally incomplete. Just like mine…
Yup, I did. I am literally down to these last two escalations, the one in H1, and the maps of H2. All other challenges, including sniper, contract, and ET related ones, are done.
I don’t get to the range and often as I want and I have a lot of friends who shoot as much as me or more and could care less about the after range cleaning. They would prefer the thing just magically cleaned itself and the polymer framed guns basically don’t need to be cleaned even 1/10 as much as the old days. Glocks and Walther PDPs etc can go 1,000 rounds no cleaning. Maybe just some lube added after 500. The older all steel weapons need way way way more attention. I clean all my guns when I get home or the next day at the very latest (even the polymer ones that don’t need it).
With my wife spending most of her time with her parents watching the World Cup, I spent the day powering through Miami, and I did it. Every challenge that hadn’t been completed since H2-H3 migration, every secret exit performed, every escalation, all done in one day. I expected it to take a week, and honestly, Miami was the one I was most dreading to deal with because of its complicated nature. I’m on a damn roll!
I’ve never heard of grape leather before. apparently it’s the most promising of all the faux leathers. They make jackets and purses out of it too. I’ll give it a try.
Congratulations, man! I don’t know what that feeling is like and sadly am unlikely ever to, so however it feels, I hope anyone who can experience it does so to the fullest, and I hope you hold onto it. Hope she’s healthy and that you can raise her well.
God has specific timings for every individual. Dont loose hope, I am praying a stork knocks your door soon
