I just found out that Lotus are making a new car and it is a fucking all-electric crossover SUV because of course it is. It looks like a Geely fucked an Urus for the love of God. It has three hundred miles of range, producing up to 600bph at the base model and all of that is powered by Colin Chapman spinning in his fucking grave!

Donāt they also have some crazy hyper sports car that is also all electric coming? IIRC itās the typical electric shaver design that all the hyper cars have morphed into each other at.
We used to have Ferrari, Lamborghini, Pagani, McLaren, Bugatti, even Audi and some others made super cars and they all looked different. Now even the Corvette looks like the rest of them. Every super car is made by Braun or Gillette.

Yes they do, the Evija I believe they call it. Also what is wrong with the way it looks? I think it looks pretty cool especially the rear with its highlights around those rear scoops and they at least had the courteously to design it to Lotusā actual standards. Besides my biggest problem with the Eletre is that it is a crossover SUV in and of itself and how it is antithetical to the Lotus brand.
I think that is a bit of a stretch and a bit unfair. You can still tell the difference between a Ferrari and a Lamborghini hypercar and all the rest.
Oh I fucking hate how the C8 looks, not even a speck of the old Sharks in there at all. All the other companies you mentioned at least retain older design elements even the company whose car is the most radically different (the Bugatti Bolide, in my opinion)

Thereās a demo and kickstarter up now, but ending very very soon. Iām really glad I caught this so soon because Iām definitely putting my money in to fund (and get) it.

This has to be the most interesting gun design I have seen in a long time. I kinda wish it had a cocking lever like the Chiappa Rino as I have no desire for a double action only pistol. I do love all steel sidearms though and itās fun to see the bullpup design being used on a handgun.

A lot happened the last ten days.
My grandfather passed away. Which is strangely bittersweet. He passed old, and we knew it was coming for a long time. In a way it was the best way it can happen : he saw the large majority of the family at Christmas, the day after felt ill, and passed a day later. There is some solace, there is some sadness.
On a different note, I might change my job. Itās still the same kind of job (support of academics/research), but would be more international. I donāt know, Iām just looking into the proposition.

An ironic arrest happened today, which Iāll give a background about:
Thereās a food we call āKotletā (Amazingly delicious, check recipes online). You may have heard of it as Meat Patties, Cutlet, or Kotleti. In case youāve heard of neither, you mash and mix meat and potatoes before frying; Thatās enough to know for the context.
After Qasem Soleimani was killed after Trumpās order, his left hand being the biggest part left, people started calling him Kotlet. Though Qasem Kotlet was the nothing more than the fun word on the streets. Some say this tweet was the starting point for it. (āŲ§Ų°Ų§ ŁŲ§Ų³Ł Ś©ŁŲŖŁŁŁŁŲŖā => āand then Qasem turned into Kotletā)

I wasnāt very active here for some time, because the last days were very exhausting and stressful. My parents got a new dog on christmas, which was very scared. Just four days later she escaped through the door to the backyard, since than we are trying to catch her. We have help from professionals and on saturday we will install a trap and hope we can catch her with that 
And all in all I am not in a very good mood recently. A close friend just ghosted me and I am very sad about it. I wish she would have at least tell me what I did wrong, now I just feel a bit blurry and I am concerned about her. I just hope sheās okay 
And because of the stress with the dog I didnāt learn for exams at all, and next week I have to work again 
I hope I can still use the time left for learning intensively
