Seeing these pics on my phone my first thought was; “What game is this?”

I’ve had the blue milk when I was there back in 2021. I wasn’t particularly a fan of it despite it being a rite of passage when it comes to Galaxies Edge.

But the Ronto Wrap from Ronto Roasters on the other hand. I’m a fiend for that.

My biggest issue with the bar at Galaxies Edge is that any and all Disney adult nab the reservations so the average guest can’t just go unless they get lucky with a walk up.

Fuckin A, that’s awesome. So you’re saying you missed Converge but did the sound mixing for another headliner? Who was it?

Also congrats on playing the festival. I wish you success and good fortune and many black t-shirts in your life.

I’m off to see Cirith Ungol tonight! METAL IS LIFE \m/

There hasn’t been an actual political debate in the U.S. for well over 40 years. Just a bunch of speeches and insults. I’m watching a test pattern from the 50’s instead and, I’ll tell you, it’s far more entertaining.

As part of National Cinema Day on sunday, Cineplex is doing 4$ movie tickets for any movie, any version on that day. 4$ in person, 5.50$ online w/ dumb service charges – anyway I know people are gonna jump on this, so I gotta book mine online fast…

Not fast enough apparently. Everyone is jumping on this deal. I checked out a bunch of films, different times, they’re all 90% packed, up to the edges or front-front row seats.
Even the latest Mission Impossible that’s been out for a while, has near-full showtimes.
I’m gonna go see the new TMNT movie at 2pm, this is what I have to deal with (blue is open)

Enjoy, I’ve been meaning to get out and see it for the past couple of weeks. It’s scored by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, really looking forward to hearing their work with the film.

We went to the Dutch GP last weekend. Dad is still there b/c he is retired. I’m jealous b/c I am back at work :face_vomiting:

Redbull dominated all the rainy weekend with Max winning.

Lots of safety cars and many cars didn’t finish the race. F2, Porsche Supercup, and F1 all suffered from retirements due to the water.

We had plenty of time for sightseeing as well.

Even though I don’t have cable or whatever it’s called now I found this cool.

Adult Swim introduced the Checkered Past Weekday Time Block. This Time Block moves Adults Swims start time to 6PM EST and for two hours it focuses on Cartoon Network programming from the late 90’s and Early 2000’s.

I like this particular move cause Cartoon Network imo has became a shell of its former self compared to what it was when I was a kid. It might just be my rose tinted glasses, but the quality was consistent and the charm was varied.

I’ve made it no secret in the past that I have a sort of bias when it comes to Traditional Animation compared to digital. While this isn’t a direct hit piece on digital animation since there are a plethora of digital animators who have made very stunning works of art. I do enjoy the jank and corner cutting that comes from Traditional Animation cells and how they reused them.

All together though circling back around to this new time block for Adult Swim this makes me very happy that the past is being preserved and can still be enjoyed without the egregious amounts of streaming services out there. I’m particularly glad that if I ever wanna watch traditional television now I know I can watch some old cartoons from my youth if I’m ever feeling nostalgic or want a feel Good Friday night.
