PSA: Chicken Run 2 is out now on Netflix. 
I’m gonna watch the first one sometime soon so I can see what they bring over to the sequel.

I’m pretty sure I’ve seen the original before, but it was a LONG time ago, and I don’t remember all that much about it.

So, I slept in, like A LOT today, but hey, I really needed that I think.
But I was dreaming near the end, and man, my brain really cooked. Like 5-stars, impressively complex.
It was about some sort of immersive game experience that merged tons of gameplay styles and various pop-culture icons together.
Some stealth things, racing gameplay, puzzle solving, minecraft-style building, it was weird.
I think it started out with The Simpsons heading to a Canadian version of Springfield, and they also went to Canada’s Wonderland too? And then the world started ending from there. 
But there were tons of appearances of characters that I knew, or that I was aware of but had never seen their properties.
First was the cast of Futurama obviously, then was the Main trio of Spongebob, Homelander from The Boys was one of the bad guys, Wyldstyle from The Lego Movie was there, the main dudes from Adventure Time too, Solid Snake from MGS briefly appeared, the Blocks from Tetris were involved at one point, various souped-up cars from Need for Speed helped, and I think I vaguely remember Scully from the X-Files appearing near the end just before I woke up.
I’m missing some stuff, (the dream is fading) but I’m sure you can get the gist of how cool of a dream that was)
Also to note: everything was “animated” in 2D, but with way more detail than usual, and each had their own style, some looking impressively 3D, but were still animated on a flat 2D plane…
Just… jeez, man. My brain usually focuses on one or two specific topics for a dream, this thing was going wild. My brain sure had a budget today lol.

Okay this is creepy… because I made a similar experience as @TheChicken I just took a nap (which is long because I of my sickness I am constantly tired) and I had a dream about Hitman that was so accurate when I woke up it took me a while to realise that it wasn’t true 
actually also made me a bit sad 
So, it was a trailer, I was playing Freelancer and suddenly at the end of a campaign it popped up. Diana was there in some kind of jungle (?), wearing a very cute yellow rain coat and she had some kind of mission (that’s what the trailer said). And suddenly there was Grey, and first it looked like he was helping her but than it looked like, he was betraying her. And 47 came up and he and Grey worked together and in between I saw Diana doing her thing (it had something to do with some poison and Blue Seed). The trailer ended with Grey and 47 in a plane (Grey wore a nice white T-Shirt, I really can’t forget that ) and he said to 47 “where are we heading?” And 47 answered “Norway” and Grey smiled and said “this is going to be a great day”. Oh and at the end of the trailer it said when you pre order you will get a new motorbike for the safehouse for free 
And the funny part is, in my dream I was so excited, I reloaded the end of my Freelancer campaign, finished it, just to see the whole trailer again
Maybe I should play less games and get more fresh air

There is a dreams topic. 
I had another strong dizzy spell last night. I was sitting at my desk watching a YouTube vid, and it was like my head or vision tilted (right side upward, left side downward). “Woah!” I said out loud. And I had to start getting ready for work in a few minutes. I had to sit for a while to regain my composure. At least I didn’t break out into a cold sweat this time, but I did feel like I could almost throw up at some point. I never did.
So this morning I got some Sudafed from the store. The pills are small so I guess they’re potent. The last time this happened I was dizzy for most of that week. I’ll see and HOPE this stuff works…
I’m guessing it’s a sinus issue causing a problem with my inner ear and causing vertigo. Also, I guess this will be another ‘pill’ to tote around like my caffeine pills and Aleve. Maybe this is all part of getting old. Dayum.

4th day in hospital now. Trying to rest and take it easy. Very tired. On antibiotics, they’ve put a pipe in my hand so they can put it straight into my veins. Keep having to give them blood pressure tests and giving them blood samples.
If things go well, I might get out Wednesday. If things go worse, they may have to drill a hole in my back to my lung so they can pump the water out of my lung. Hoping that doesn’t happen.
Dad’s visiting, that’ll be nice. He’s bringing me my copy of Fire Emblem Engage, so that’ll be nice to dive into that. The hospital food makes me crave curry or Chinese food or a big burrito.

Oh no!
My mom’s friend offered me one of her Christchurch, New Zealand trips with a 75 hour layover. It’ll take me 30 more years + before I can hold trips like that, but none of the days she has the trip on works out so I had to refuse.

that sounds awful. I’m so sorry @Silvereyes. I hope they figure it out and you recover so fast that you forget you were even sick 
sounds similar to how covid behaved in the beginning of the pandemic for some people, but who knows. you’ll be okay if it is or isn’t. sending good vibes your way

It turns out I actually have COVID as well, but they think that’s more bad luck than it causing damage. Yeah, I hope so too.

Oof, double conditions absolutely suck. Once had pink eye and step throat at the same time myself, so I get how hard it is to recover when there’s a secondary burden on the system. Stay strong.
