I went Straight Edge in 2021 and it was a great decision. Would recommend doing it permanently

any particular reason for this endeavour?
Same one as always, my lowered functionality inhibits my personal, professional and social life. I want people to take me seriously, and I want to be productive regarding creation and skill-learning. As it is now, I could sit in my room playing video games until Iām a senior citizen and it would feel like nothing at all. Iād rather avoid that.
I will say that itās fucking hard doing this, living at home. I went out to see Nosferatu again, had a great time, came home and now I hate life again. It is what it is.

The forum changed the way the emoji menu is laid out and I really hate it. 
It USED to be in a consistent, logical order that flowed between different āthemesā. Now itās a jumbled mess. Iām assuming this is a Discourse wide update that you might not have much control over, @wincenworks? Just hoping for some clarification if possible.
Normally, the menu went through the different āhappy, smileā faces. Then moved onto the āsillyā faces (winking, blushing, hearts, heart-eyes, star-eyes) and so on and so forth. But now? Wellā¦ I donāt get itā¦
Case in point here: Normally the Hearts were laid out after the faces, and all grouped together. But here we have various hearts in a row, then more faces in a seperate group, then 3 more hearts on their own?? Aaagh, itās annoying for my brain

The forum uses standardized emoji packs - plus a few additions, and so it seems like these is either an update to these packs, or to the core software of the forum.

Ok, I think I might have fucked myself up in an unexpected and kinda stupid way. Most of today while I was at work, during my break times, I wrote a Hitman parody of āWe Didnāt Start The Fireā by Billy Joel. Itās over in the Creative Corner if youāre interested. The thing is, because I spent so much time on it today, figuring out the right lyrics, going over dozens of times, editing it over and over, Iāve somehow got the song rhythm stuck in my head to the point that I canāt read anything right now without reading it as if to the rhythm of that song. As in typing this, right now, Iām still doing it, wow, there I go, once again, this is dumb, please let it end.
Seriously, this is annoying, I just want to read something like normal right now!

First semester of uni is over! The exam period took forever but the results were ok. There were even a few full marks.
The interesting course was the C++ one (mainly cause I already knew it) and in the end I wrote two mini-games, a console version of MineSweeper and another console game based on the original Space Invaders, yet incomplete. Thereās going to be Java next semester, and the final project will a be an app like YouTube, Spotify or other famous platforms of the same of difficulty to reproduce.
We went out for about two months until I ended it. It didnāt feel right and I couldnāt see any future with it. It was fun while it lasted though.
