Had another scare this morning, this time with my dog, as Peach was restless most of the night, and this morning we saw why. Peachās face was swollen this morning, according to the vet, most likely from a bee sting. Donāt know when or how a bee got to her, or perhaps it was some other type of bug, but she also vomited, although the vet says that was probably from whatever caused the swelling, too.
Fortunately, sheās not in danger at the moment, is not deathly allergic (apparently), the swelling is coming and going in waves on its own as her body fights off the venom, and the vet gave her the best stuff to treat all her symptoms. Sheās still a bit restless and itchy, and at times when the swelling returns it makes her look like she went a few rounds with Apollo Creed, but her appetite is still healthy and sheās still seeking attention from me and my wife, so she seems to be healing well. Weāll be watching her closely for the next day or so in case.

Itās like a salad. Like a liquid roach salad with a personality. Wants you to be quiet. Liquid roach salad saying shhhh shhh shh. Capers and bacon and other salad things that make no noise. Itās a silent celebration of bonzos and bon bon swimming pools.

Ugh, man, Iāve been fighting some sickness since last Monday, and all thatās left is a dry throat and a cough but this thingās still annoying AF.
(Sunday and Monday I had to call in sick from work since I was just not feeling well at all. Headache, pain & weakness, on the knifeās edge of the beginnings of a fever temperatureā¦)
Iāve been good enough to go to work and feel fairly fine this weekend since I rested up, thereās just this lingering, incessant cough and throat irritation that just wonāt leave me alone.
Some medication does tone it down a bit, but god, I just wanna be done with this! 
Today at work felt more irritating for some reason too (and embarrassing to be working a food service job with an active coughā¦ thankfully Iām one of the few who wear a mask at ALL times at work, so Iām usually being safe with myself and with othersā health.)
Guh, itās just frustrating to be sick but not sick enough to concern yourself with seeing a doctor. This is just a severe Spring cold Iād wagerā¦ Hope to be rid of it soon!

Been little over a year since I left my previous job of almost 10 years.
A lot has changed, for one they merged with Six Flags. And with the merger came a lot of layoffs and then gutting the place I formally called home away from home.
Recently as of a few hours ago I heard someone who I hold dear got laid off and I quickly reached out.
Theyāre doing okay fortunately and had a quick turn around for finding some type of employment even if itās not glamorous.
Currently speaking I worry for the scheduling department given someone who I am close to is also potentially on the chopping block.
Iām fortunate to have left when I did, but seeing this happen is very disheartening given for a lot of us we all started off as teenagers who got careers out of this as adults. So for the people I consider family unceremoniously axed. Itās a terrible time to be working in that place especially so early in their 2025 season.

Injured myself at work today. Wasnāt watching where I was going as I was going over the results of a failed driving test, stepped off a curb when I shouldnāt have and took a tumble, skinning the hell out of my knee, right in front of all the customers lined up at the front of the building and with my bodycam recording. Didnāt break my ankle, teeth, or glasses though, so I count it as a win. My work is sending me to a med clinic to get it cleaned up and bandaged. The whole thing is funny as fuck.
