If you like velvety then you need to get into Malbecs! Usually dark fruit and velvet. Cabernet Sauvignon is my fav though. Less velvet + more and darker fruit = bolder!

In Brazil, we have two Valentine’s day. We have the Valentine’s Day that is the one celebrated on the US (we call it Saint Valentine’s day, in free translation), which celebrates general love. The second one; which happens to be today, is called Lovers’ Day (free translation), which celebrates the love between lovers, obviously. So to all of you who have a girlfriend/boyfriend/wife/husband and whatever else, happy Second Valentine’s Day! To my teachers’ delight, none of us from my school have nothing to celebrate.
Also this double Valentine’s Day is purely commercial.

Everything’s so fucked up right now, constantly escalating for the worse. Internets services are down for the most part. 6 professors from my uni were killed, and the targeted generals resisded (visibly) close by.

To clarify:
Today, IDF initiated 5 waves of air and planted bomb attacks on Iran, predominantly targeting Tehran. Starting around 3:30 by targeting military bases and certain buildings spanning across the width of Tehran. They were later said to be the residence of the highest-ranking available generals and nuclear scientists. Among the generals were the chief of Iran’s armed forces Mohammad Bagheri, the commander of IRGC Hossein Salami, the commander of IRGC’s Aerospace Force Amirali Hajizadeh, Former military Gen and current oil titan Ali Shamkhani, and at least 16 more as reported by state media. Scientists I’m less aware of but at least 6 of them were from my university.
The map is incomplete.
The raids later continued to span across the country, targeting probably the most important nuclear site in Iran (Natanz), The “hunting” airport bases of Tabriz and Hamedan, Missile bases in Ilam, Lorestan, Kermanshah and Karaj, and much more I can’t remember right now.
This morning was surreal. The dorm’s rooftop has a full view of Tehran given its location height. Went there to find the city in smoke and flames, still burning after hours. They were quite close too. Roads all closed, flights are canceled, and I’m stuck here in the only Iranian university to have a nuclear faculty. Everyone’s panicking the shit out of their pants. Tonight’s gonna be interesting to watch.
And I’m happy about the generals. Hajizadeh for one was directly responsible for attacking the Ukrainian flight PS752 with 3 missiles, killing 176.
