Sam, it’s Tarman. The forums fucked up the Tar Currents, Sam. We can’t continue this DM with Silvereyes until you make a new Tar Thread.
DAMN IT
Me too, but I know why…
I must officially be behind old. I must be “very old” b/c I have no clue what any of this means.
As probably one of the youngest people here i also have no clue what this is so probably not a age problem
Ah thank Buddha. No need for euthanasia yet. Well if you figure it out tell me. Also, how young are you? I have 39 years on this earth.
Ah, what an innocent person…

Ok I definitely didn’t look hard enough I like this one
Yes I was gonna say there are so many songs about 17. Mostly about girls who are 17, and you happened to find the only one written from the girls point of view, but there are lots and lots of them.
It’s the music video for Metro Station - Seventeen Forever. The band was 3 teenagers and one dude who was nearly 30, guess who wrote 17 forever?
. Killer good song though.
@thefixer47
Maybe you can watch this one instead; my fav band of all time actually…
I love Stevie Nicks, and while Edge of 17 is only my third favorite song by her, it’s the one that introduced me to her. It sounds like it’s building energy throughout the entire song, like it’s gaining momentum and zeroing in a moment, building up to a major climax of some sort. That’s the great thing about Stevie’s style, even when she was singing for Fleetwood Mack: her songs have energy.
Yes she’s fantastic. I was born 86, and my music knowledge more or less starts in late 1989 with Blondies Heart of Glass ushering in that 80s synth pop sound, but I know I a bit of 70s and Fleetwood is part of it b/c Stevie was so damn magnetic.
