What's New....?

It’s a Death Stranding 2 reference. It’s OK.
Only those who have drank the blood of Kojima may understand.

My left foot had been killing me for weeks. I’m pretty sure it’s plantar fasciitis. However, yesterday wasn’t so bad, and this morning the pain was minimal. And I’m walking mostly normally. Plantar fasciitis usually goes away eventually, so I’m thinking that my toe stretching and giving it time might finally be helping. Hopefully this continues and it goes away entirely in the next few days.

Been sick the last few days, took a Covid test this morning, and surprise motherfucker! My wife also came down sick yesterday, which means she had it too. I’m not really that worried about her and myself, but more about our dog, Peach. She’s already had breathing problems in the last years, this is not what she needs. She’s not symptomatic right now, but I’m gonna be on guard.

I think it is a made up word . But I go every year. This year Friday is gonna be wonderful but we have some bands we’re pumped for every day. I really wish it would go back to being 3 days, but revenue ruins fun; four days it is.

@Heisenberg hope all three of you recover quickly!

Street legal “grenade launcher” available in American gun shops soon!

Just what everyone needs

At last, a gun that fulfills the needs of home defense, hunting and protection of others.

Burglar in your kitchen? Grenade 'em.
Deer in the woods? Grenade 'em.
Guy holding up the bank teller? Grenade 'em.
Police officer wants to know if that’s a grenade launcher in your pocket or if you’re just happy to see them? Surprisingly, you don’t grenade 'em. But you do get a fine for no CCW.

But let any non-white person be seen with one…

This is pretty wild. I went out to get some drone shots of the rapids on the Ottawa River today, and it turns out that just an hour or so after I left somebody needed to be rescued.

My reddit post https://old.reddit.com/r/ottawa/comments/1m9xa5a/ottawa_river_rapids/

Article about the swimmer that needed rescuing

Time of my post that I made on the bus was 12:13p, the police were called at 12:56p

David Bateson is in my hometown and I literally know how to find him :eyes:
Tonight I’m going for a walk with my girlfriend and I am considering to go dressed around full Sapienza.

Should I write him on Facebook?

Better hope he’s not stalking you, actually.

My Covid symptoms are almost completely gone, but so is my sense of smell. I can still taste, in the sense that my mouth knows if it’s holding something sweet or bitter or what have you, but I can’t detect any actual flavor because of the loss of smell. For example, I had some coffee with sugar, but no cream like I normally have it. My mouth could detect the sweetness of the sugar, so I knew sugar was involved, but if you blindfolded me and handed me the mug to drink from, I couldn’t tell you that what I was drinking was coffee, or that the sweetness my mouth detected came from sugar specifically.

Fortunately, this is common for Covid and most people recover their smell in a few weeks as the damage to the cells in their noses heal. If damage was done to the nerve, then that will take a lot longer; months to a year or so. And if permanent damage was done, I’ll never recover it. Fortunately, permanent loss is rare, I have been vaccinated (although I didn’t get my booster for the past year), and I recovered fairly quickly from this illness, so the odds are in my favor that it will return in a short time. :crossed_fingers:
