Yep Double is a digital station now and usually plays older songs in the genres Triple J used to play. Triple J used to play a lot of independent stuff or from genres only young people listened to but slowly there has been a devolution in what it plays and it gets very close to Top 40 at times.
I am an old fogey so I listen to Triple M which is more or less what a “classic rock” radio station is like in America except I don’t know if your commercial music radio also plays sports coverage. (Yes I know sports are covered on the radio but I don’t know if that is syndicated through music stations)
Or Cruise1323 which is exactly like what an easy-listening AOR AM radio station must be like in America which is what I listen to when it is footy and cricket season so basically all winter and summer weekends especially.
Wow I can’t believe foreigners even know about that, they still do it every Friday.

Yea mostly younger peeps who are way into music and see the versions on YouTube. You can buy some of the songs too. The Haim one is the only one I ever thought was good enough to put on my iPod.
