Currently being stressed at work. I work 5 evenings, and each evening I close the shop, meaning I can’t leave until the shop is clean, dishes are done, floor is swept and mopped etc. We have 2 different inspections coming soon, which means we’re doing everything we can to clean every inch of the shop. But it seems like I keep getting blamed for some minor thing being missed since I’m one of the two drivers who always leaves at the end of the day.
We have a group chat on Whatapp for the employees and for several days now, I keep getting texts from the manager with a photo of some minor issue he found in the morning, with me and the other driver tagged wanting an explanation. Like last morning, it was because the mop I had used, washed, and properly hung up in the correct area had leaked a little bit of water over night to make a tiny puddle on the floor and apparently that’s unacceptable. How on earth am I meant to make a mop bone dry after using it and then washing it?
Good thing is I have 3 more shifts, then I go on holiday for 9 days. But I’m just getting stressed because each night now I’m just getting stressed trying to make sure my close is perfect, and I keep getting paired with a new driver who, while trying his best, also speaks very little English, so I struggle to be able to explain to him what to do.
Urgh. I tend to whine alot about work but really, at the end of the day, I try and do a good job, I don’t slack off, and I feel like I just get put down because I’m not perfect and because I’m the last person out, that means I get the blame for other’s people laziness or mistakes. It just makes me wonder why I put any effort in atall.

@TheContractor yea we steal all the good names or we come up with one that isn’t so great. Chicago means stinky onion river or something like that 
At least we don’t have Saint John and St Johns directly next to each other like our northern friends.
@Rimland dude I would love to be in Italy and I’m vaccinated, but that kind of trip is still probably a few months away.

Sounds like me everytime somebody criticises deadmau5 lol.
My department manager asked me if I wanted me I wanted to be SFO Coordinator (After school program coordinator). I would go from 35 hours work week to 37, which is full time in Denmark. I happily accepted the extra responsibility and look forward to use the extra hours on planning and coordinating. My staff representative said that she had the same thought and was planning to ask our department manager to give me that position.
All in all nice, I’ll get a little pay raise. My Department leader also informed me that I been underpaid for the last two months, that they forgotten to add my bonus for how many hours I have inside the classroom.

Got tipped 20 Jamaican Dollars today. I’ve been given a Euro before, which is understandable due to how near the Euro countries are, but rather funny to be given Jamaican currency.
Still though, 20 bucks? That’s got to be worth a lot of money right?
Well, I guess it’s better than nothing. I reckon 90%+ of my customers don’t tip me but this was pretty funny to find out.

I did a art streak recently about batman, 10 or so drawings basically of the Batman Arkham franchise, basically drawing iconic batman comic covers in the Arkham verse

I got a real interest in comics and graphic novels recently, well more like since the middle of last year. Read a lot of so far, mostly trades and that of Batman. I loved the Arkham games and was pretty happy to learn there’s an entire 12 issue prelude to the last game Arkham Knight and that’s how the interest started. I personally love the batsuit in Arkham knight, it’s so modern and militaristic(am I using the right word? 
) so I felt it would be awesome if I redrew iconic batman moments with that suit. 
I’m also getting close to finish Diary of A Wimpy Hitman 3, I think it’ll be released this week. A new thing is there’ll be a lot more detailed drawings and stuff. Anyways that’s about it for this TED talk

I had a really nice time at the ballpark with my popps. They played a full 9 inning game which was a fun surprise (often spring training is only 7 or sometimes only 5). One fantastic thing about there only being 20% fans was you could run up to grab another cocktail and there was no line at all. The experience has made me ultra excited for the regular season to start and for some Cubs games at Wrigley!!

I’ve been pushing up against a lot of school work and deadlines this week, and because of that I’ve been desperate to hide away in my drawing bubble. Unfortunately, I can’t do that or time will melt away and I’ll literally fail. So… all that time has escaped me, and when I’m done my work, it’s either been too late to art something up or I’m too burnt out from the work to do anything.

I’m personally most proud of this one, it’s a recreation of Gotham by Gaslight Graphic Novel’s cover but the background city Gotham is from the game and Batman is wearing the Arkham Knight batsuit:

Honestly, I freaking loved the Gotham they created in the game, it was so beautiful and detailed and very dark, gothic and a little cyberpunkish too, and I loved the batmobile and how it handled, despite the generally negative reactions towards it. And honestly the ending of the game’s story was something else entirely. Love this game and it’s a damn shame it was the last one
Well I did have refrences because I was recreating iconic covers for the most part, so it wasn’t as hard to do it 
That’s so relatable! There are so many times that I have a lot of free time but I just spend it procrastinating or worrying about this and that I should do it, only to never do it and being fed up with myself. Though what I found helped a lot was having like a week long plan, like here I was like I’ll make one Batman fanart piece everyday, for 2 to 3 hours at anytime and somehow that gave me the motivation to start the computer which is basically the start and the toughest part(at least for me) 
Yeah i feel you, though another thing to remember is that for now it’s like a hobby, so it doesn’t matter if you don’t do it all days or on all opportunities you get, you can always start creating stuff the next time
