Or it’s just because they are famous and maybe your favourite media people and you would like to see them in the game even if they are meant to be killed?

With the history of film/action stars and the ETs growing to be more than the simple one-target missions, I’m expecting the next ET to be a two-target reignition of the Schwarzenegger / Stallone rivalry, where we’re able to pick the target in the same sense as you were able to choose the targets in the Pride Escalation

So long as there’s an option to pick both. Can have the satisfaction of giving Stallone a “knock out” in the first round, and terminating Arnold.

I think the next CelebET will be an NPC designed to personify the WoA trilogy itself, because at this point, IOI is really just killing the game, and as long as that’s the case, let’s get serious about it.

If the Bruce Lee CelebrET is anything to go by than next years CelebrETs don’t need to be alive or even exist so I propose Michael Myers or Freddy Krueger in a Halloween-themed Whittleton Creek mission. It would finally give us the long requested Halloween-themed Whittleton Creek seasonal event and it would appeal to a different demographic.
Why not three targets? Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers and Freddy Krueger
That’d be epic but maybe too expensive for IO but they can just have a generic killer for all I care so long as I get my Halloween Whittleton Creek I’m happy.
The fact that they come back to life isn’t even an issue, because as some recent ETs have shown, 47 apparently sucks now at actually making sure targets are dead, so it wouldn’t even matter that he’s not able to kill those particularly three. I mean, maybe Michael.
Depending on which horror villain you choose I have a couple of ideas.
Michael Myers would use the Santa Clause teleportation mechanic.
Freddy Krueger would use the mirror portal mechnic but with beds and you have to navigate through the maze like dream world to find Freddy.
Jason Voorhees would have the “ch ch ch ah ah ah“ sound effect when near players.
All of them would have a modified version of close combat but with their icon weapons and an optional objective would have you protect potential victims.
… that’s Jason’s sound effect, not Michael’s.
