These items like fish, meaty bone, bat, snowball, quickdraw, muffin, doesn’t make sense appearing while you choose your mission. Even if we accept it is possible, what kind of an international assassin would use these items to knock out their victims when they have a tranquilizer gun with them?
A bat would only draw unnecessary attention, a piece of animal flesh or bone would attract foul smell, snowball would melt, and can only be used once.
Don’t know the reason behind these ridiculous gear options…
Using them mid-missions when you are tyring to improvise due to lack of gear makes sense. But choosing them from the start is absolutely ridiculous…
Maybe they did it to add a bit of comedy, but it takes away the seriousness of the mission.
Except, that answer has never held water, and he knows it. Because if that’s what you’re going to go with if you are wondering what the established rules are in a work of fiction that allows something to work, then you might as well not have any explanation for anything at all, such as why there’s even a conflict between protagonist and antagonist.
It’s not real and it’s silly, don’t question it, is a cop-out non-answer that basically says “I didn’t put any thought to it, don’t make me feel dumb for it.”
Now, in relation to the gear items, 47 could still use such silly things because nobody would suspect the danger he could pose to them with them in his possession, and sometimes just to mock his targets by using ridiculous things to bring them down when serious things like the law couldn’t.
I’m talking about minor details that are part of the “ignore because otherwise everything sucks” group, not the major object (plot)
Not really. As I said, I always put a lot of thought in fiction logic and most of times it’s about not being annoying about everything because it doesn’t have a real life explanation because it’s not real, as you said.
Anyone can question anything, but 1. it’s not worth it and 2. if you start questioning everything you will see that reality doesn’t make sense so you don’t.
Also I’m not dumb.
I bet Batman just puts air in the tyres at the shell station when he’s getting fuel. I mean how often do tyres need to be topped off anyway? Once a year when it gets cold ?
