I find the side mission Embrace of the Serpent is even more annoying.
Yes, people did. Just because you’re extremely good at the game doesn’t mean everyone is. Bangkok is one of the top three story missions people complain about difficulty SASOing due to the lack of options for Cross.
It’s not really obvious that of the room full of NPCs in the party room most don’t look towards the cake, and getting the timing right for getting the topper itself can be tricky. The other straightforward option involves going through a different room full of NPCs, and then on master you have two NPCs that are “tied” together to pass for the most obvious route too.
Hey, I’ve had my struggles. I’m just surprised an SASO on Jordan Cross is one that others have, at least beyond the first few times playing when you’re unfamiliar with the map. If we were talking SASO on Sean Rose using the exploding watch… that’s something I’d understand.
Honestly unless you are carefully making your way to the recording booth and kill Cross there I can’t think of a way I’d straight up call easy… and for the average player even going up to the recording booth isn’t that easy, there are lots of enforcers just waiting to catch you and not too many ways of going there in comparison to other targets.
Reza Zaydan is a target I’d say is easy to SASO because the school isn’t that hard to infiltrate and he can be isolated quite easily.
Jordan is just constantly surrounded by other NPCs, definitely a target I’d call Difficult/Challenging.
Or just poison his unattended food, and wake the waiter up. It makes him the easiest SASO of the trilogy.
(man, do I wish the equivalent for Strandberg, of putting a bomb in his baggage, and giving it to the roaming intern was still present, unfortunately that mechanic was scrapped. And with it Strandberg bedroom in the embassy)
Maybe the roadmap is taking so long because they have to announce this new target at the IGN Fan Fest tomorrow. Then we get the roadmap the day after. Boom!
Honestly I wish this mission didn’t exist, it’s just terrible in all regards. Reddington himself isn’t particularly hard though, the real problem is getting into that stupid hut for his journal.
Nah, the hut is no problem if you know how to sneak through the foliage and gather up some of the map’s coins before trying for it. The real issue are those two damned guards of his that make even the sieker and kalmer not an easy solution.
Well this time it’s me who wonders if we play the same game. You can just sieker / kalmer the bodyguards from an unseen position (like in the tall grass or something), then use some propane / syringe on Reddington and that’s it. The hut’s a pain because there’s basically a single approach to it, which is downright awful in a game that’s all about finding multiple ways to kill people.
I really don’t want them to add new mastery levels to freelancer, getting to 100 is very tedious already, adding more definately wouldn’t help. I also don’t think the decorations are going to be DLC because it’s mostly assets that are already in the game. The street art and makeshift pack where new designs (at least I think because I don’t remember seeing them on other maps/ missions. The Drop doesn’t count because that was released after the DLCs). Most likely, the new decorations are going to be unlocked through a challenge, I just hope it’s not related to hardcore mode.
I do hope that there is no new Twitch drop this year. I’m not a fan of that personally.
But let see what we’ll get this year before making any premature conclusions…
Pretty sure that new roadmap will fall this week or next week for early March.
Ugh, how much you wanna bet it was meant to be only a new Elusive Target that is part of a Twitch drop - like, for example, the Broker during a Twitch drop, which is new in the sense that the Broker has never been part of that before - and not a new Elusive Target in-and-of itself.
