Year 2 - March Roadmap

Is this a joke?!

I’m guessing this means Freelancer is coming this month and they need to finalise some stuff before releasing the roadmap. If the roadmap was just BEH, FCs and ETs there would be no reason that they wouldn’t be ready to release it.

Eh we already had delayed roadmaps in the past without a new mode being the cause of it. :stuck_out_tongue:

To be honest, I expect Freelancer to be first presented with a live stream. And certainly with a trailer during it. With one or two weeks of publicity.

So as long as we don’t have a stream announced I wouldn’t get my hopes up on freelancer.

No, of course not, IOI always personally address me in all their patch notes… :stuck_out_tongue:

Watch the freelancer mode won’t come out for another two month😂

Not necessarily. They’re saying to wait a little longer, which could mean none this month, or it could be like it was during the seasons of sin and cover a month and a half, in which case they may release a roadmap later this month that will cover the rest of April and May.

I bet there won´t be a roadmap this month. Because there is no reason for it - Berlin Egg Hunt (old content), Featured Contracts and Elusive Murillo Arcade. That´s all there is.

Releasing a roadmap full of uninteresting stuff would only make people angry (just like last month).

Hitman? More like boringman with that lack of content.

Right? When i read your post I couldn’t help but to hear that in my head.

Its wild how the community both wants live service content frequency but not a live service game.

Yep i think this is the moment
This month Freelancer
I bet next week the annoucment

I would not say that. Not every game needs a new content every week. People are spoiled these days, they want more and more, every game has to be a live service etc. Back in my day, we bought a game with certain amount of levels and that was it.

Heck, look at Hitman: Blood Money for example. There were 14 missions and nothing more. No DLCs, no Blood Money: Year 2, no different game modes, nothing. And it was enough for us. We still had hours of fun with the game.

Hitman 3 doesn´t need 500 Elusive Target Arcades. We don´t need reskins of old unlocks. If they want to release new content, let it be good content! I don´t mind waiting several months for Freelancer or the new map. Hitman 3 is still a massive game with plenty of stuff to do.

Right now IOI releases content just for the sake of content. Elusive Murillo Arcade is the prime example of it. And that is just because players won´t give them a break.

It´s OK, IOI, we can wait. Just take your time and work on Freelancer. If there won´t be another Murillo this month, I am sure we´ll all be fine.

Gotta agree. I’m sure we sound very “get off my lawn” here, but games used to be whatever came on the disk the day you bought it at the store. No DLC, no extra levels, heck, not even any patches. The game was just the game. I still have games in some CD-sleeve somewhere that have never gotten so much as a hotfix.

im 100% with you there man

Nah, I don’t think so. I’m thinking May for Freelancer. Would be happy to be wrong, but I’m not gonna bank on it. I am pretty sure this will be the last breather month, though.

European seasonal standards or not, I don’t think they’ll wait until June if they’re sticking to the “spring” deadline that they were expecting. June is a cultural gray area for the seasons; May is unambiguously in the “near end” area of the season of spring for the northern hemisphere, plus when you get gamers are expected to get out of school for the summer, so I’m thinking near the end of May for Freelancer.

Again, would be happy to be wrong.

I would say may or june cause thats my theory
