You’re the beneficiary to a large sum of money. Do you…

  • Take a large, one-lump sum
  • Take smaller amounts over a longer period of time

I mean, after you jump through all the hoops and provide this and that paperwork, court orders/documents saying if the estate is in probate or not, bla bla bla. :unamused:

I can’t really recall what might be his best (and by “best” I’m assuming we mean FUN) contract, but this one… It’s got to be up there as one of the most rage-inducing contracts I’ve ever played.

Arrive, hide, leave is one of my least favorite experiences with this game. Absolutely awful. The rest are all absolute bangers though

Interesting there is no clear favorite. Also interesting some contracts have fans I would not rate as favorites myself.

In all honesty, I don’t know which is which and I’m too lazy right now to look in the game to see what they were. I’ve played all of them though.

That means I did not manage to frustrate you enough yet.

What are your favorite games that have an open world? Not to confuse this question with the best open world games but instead, what open worlds do you like the most. I’m just listing game series for the most part because there’s too many to list individually, but you can always point the ones out yourself. Top four.

  • GTA series
  • Saint’s Row series
  • Mafia series
  • Assassins Creed series
  • Watch Dogs series
  • Spider-Man series
  • Batman Arkham series
  • Red Dead Redemption series
  • The Witcher series
  • Horizon Zero Dawn series
  • Far Cry series
  • Cyberpunk
  • Elden Ring
  • Ghost Of Tsushima
  • Something not on this list

I’ve only played four of them so I voted for those.

I haven’t played most of the games on this list either, so its cool.

I haven’t play any of those games. So I picked the ones I’m most interested in.

Elden Ring?.. Sekiro wasn’t listed. Maybe those too… But with their high difficulty? I’ll probably never play 'em.

sekiro isn’t quite open world.

also, they’re hard - for sure - but not prohibitively so. there are lots of in game mechanics that ease the burden, especially in elden ring.

the satisfaction from beating a section or boss you thought was hard is unmatched precisely because of the ‘struggle’.

For me it definitely needs to have cars! Naturally you need transportation to travel in an open world game, right? So I enjoy those having automobiles.

Cars usually play a significant role of setting up the location and time period of the world too. For instance, you can see many boxy Japanese vans, but not a single American muscle car in Sleeping Dogs’ Hong Kong. Or that a specific type of vehicles can reflect its local car culture, like lowriders in GTA: San Andreas.

(Driving a 1st gen Corvette must be pretty stylish in the 50s, isn’t it? You can do that in Mafia II) :sunglasses:

Last but not least, I should add that I prefer driving myself to the destination rather than fast travel. It’s also where you get to enjoy the scenery and radio stations. And my “something not on this list” would include open-world racing games like Need for Speed series or Forza Horizon.

Which H3 level would you sacrifice to have it replaced with the level of your dreams?

  • Dubai
  • Dartmoor
  • Berlin
  • Chongqing
  • Mendoza
  • Carpathian Mountains

Please elaborate what kind of level you’d replace it with.

i’d replace it with a massive, sprawling zoo.

I dunno what I’d replace it with, since I don’t really have a “dream level”. I just find Dartmoor boring and far to easy.

I’d sacrifice the entire game for a Codename 47 HD Remaster.

Somewhere in Australia, maybe a yacht club or something.

Apart from the terrible CM level, I would combine Chongqing and the rave from Berlin, so its a Chinese underground rave. And then replace what was Berlin with either a Swiss ski resort or a cruiseliner.
