Or putting myself in some nice dress and touching his hand. Also works.

In many video games (and books and movies) there is an evil Version of the Protagonist, sometimes its their own evil side manifested, sometimes its a clone, a shape-shifting Demon or even a Robot version. They usually function as some sort of Rival for the Protagonist, some examples are Mileena from Mortal Kombat, Dark Link from Zelda, Mechagodzilla etc.

Whats your opinion on this kind of Character? Do you think they are lame and uninspired or do you think the concept of basically fighting your own evil side is interesting?

I’d sacrifice Dubai for Dubai.

Wow, I’m a bit suprised by the lack of love for the Cyberpunk world, although I’m guessing that’s due to the original state it was released in.

I still think CM was not only fine, but necessary as the end of the game. Replacing that with some sprawling sandbox would have left the game without a proper ending. Dubai was just too vertical, too bright, and too stark.

For a Hitman game, would you rather…
  • Have NPCs speaking in their own language?
  • Have NPCs speaking English in their own “accent”?
  • Have NPCs speaking English?

I chose English without accents, but I can sympathize with players in other countries though.

I don’t mind reading close caption to have it as authentic as possible, but I also like them speaking English in their own accent too.

Own languages would be great, but given how much the gameplay has become dependent on overhearing dialogues, they would have to come with omnipresent subtitles. Otherwise English with local accents.

I´d sacrifice Dubai for Dubai with a helicopter explosion kill…

A snowy airport level. Idk how controversial it would be but I want it.

Give me snowy level dammnit!

(Considering id be replacing CM, i guess a full abandoned romania asylum would work too.)

I still don’t get why people want snowy levels in this game. In the three maps where snow exists, none of them are particularly compelling because of the snow. There are other parts of the maps that are of genuine interest, but the fact that there is snow doesn’t make them any better or worse. What is the big attraction to having snow on the map?

I would want one for diversity to the tropical and mild maps we have and because we have so much gear for cold weather that refuses to fit in anywhere.

I want snow levels to feature slippery ice physics :joy:

Fair enough. If the main reason is because IOI have provided a lot of cold weather stuff, that makes some sense.

So do you want a “snowy” level or do you actually want an “icy” level? As I recall, the one place where we can actually walk on snow doesn’t have any ice patches where NPCs can slip so it would be a quasi-new mechanic (NPCs can slip on certain puddles I think, but those aren’t frozen).

Or like that Alucard doppelganger in Symphony of the Night? The one that keeps dodging every one of your attacks? No thanks!

He isn’t so bad? I’ve always loved the castlevania bosses, Scylla is my favorite in SOTN :grinning:
