Yes or No...? 2

The rage has two distinct clear cut elimination opportunities :

  • the almost mission story
  • the line of coke

He also has some interesting change to the map and NPC placement.

  • the scientist in the Block first floor
  • the possibility to jump to the arcade back entrance by the slop (which I was quite surprised to see does not exist in the normal mission
  • the mirror in the arcade backroom (if you want to catch him there).
  • the fuse box in the block

He is no Hitman 2016 “here’s a target with four enforcer bodyguard and no accident opportunity, have fun”.

He’s alright.

But he is the most restrictive Hitman 3 Elusive Target. With the shortest loop, and not the best private areas,

I never paid no mind to the rage and it’s design and storyline. However I have gripes at how they had their run six times and counting. It doesn’t matter what complications you shift around in the arcade, it will be defined as insanity.

Is this a poisoning opportunity? Where is it located?

There’s a room next to the fenced area behind the arcade where one of the NPCs does push-ups and chin-ups. In here there is a table next to a couch…

I feel like the little room off the arcade is a pretty clear cut opportunity too. He walks through it repeatedly and there is only ever the one guard that follows him in there (plus a readily available hiding cabinet).

for the yes question i would rather say " yes. he’s easy to kill." cause tbh he really isn’t as interesting nor difficult like the other ets.

Since we are talking Elusive Target.
With Year Two slowly but steadily arriving at its last quarter, I was wondering :

Following Year Two, do you wish for new release of Elusive Targets ?
  • Yes, give me some Year 3 ETs
  • Yes, but only reactivations
  • No

I want new ETs, full release of all former ETs into arcade mode with standard play possible (no complications), and work out a new deal with Bean and Busey for fuck’s sake, they’re not even doing anything right now!

I think I have to precise what I wanted to ask: I wasn’t talking new ETs or new content, but of continuing or not the model used for Year Two. The model of old ETs, but with new challenges and a Year Two banner.
I’m mostly asking as a completionnist, because reactivations would allow me to have some rest on the ET train.

So, either :

  • New relaunch of previous ETs, under a Year 3 banner
  • Relaunch of previous ETs, but as reactivation

I like the Rage for some reasons below. Just want to give a opinion warning before hand though.

  1. I love his area. It’s so interesting to stealth your way into SASO and ofc doing Heisenberg’s way is also very fun. His loop is a challenging one that leads to quite alot of accident kills like the cocaine (drowning/lethal poison), puddles (electrocution), oil barrel (fire kill) plus of your gear in hand!

  2. Good changes to the map/good use to the map. With the amount of little changes i had to change my usual entry to areas around the neon lit streets. Some examples include: new Chongqing oil barrel, changes guard locations, blocked of the arcade door, changes some npc positions to make it feel like its a different silent night etc etc

  3. I managed to blow him up with the explosive phone and it came to be a Better Call Saul reference

  4. There is a mission story type thing that I’ve noticed in some of these Hitman 3 map ET’s which is cool.

Now here are somethings i dislike about the Rage

  1. I dislike the guard AI in this mission, why cant i enter a area thats blocked off with Streer Guards as a bloody Street Guard, but then when i do my SASO way to get into the lions den, as a Steeet Guards im allowed in!!!
Strange choice IOI. Really strange choice.

  2. I wish he used more of the special changes for the map in this ET. Here is a example: there is extra guards near the homeless bamboo ladder to the block, but not once does anyone actually go down there (some npc probably does after like a hour lol)

All in all i like him, thats it

My favorites are the ones that are tucked away in a small corner of the map and don’t move…

Took the words right out of my mouth; it really depends on if you’re comparing him to an ET like The Chameleon or one like The Ascensionist.

Oh… I was thinking more along the lines of ETs for maps that don’t have any and/or permanent reactivations of as many of the good/worthwhile ETs as possible (The Chameleon can die in a non-explosion accident for all I care).

Would a future Hitman mission in Central Asia be cool?

To be fair, you could replace “in Central Asia” with pretty much any location and I’d hit “Yes”.

Well, we’ve already had a lot of missions in Russia or Italy or England and I feel like Central Asia is a place that hasn’t really been covered a lot in the trilogy. I’d be interested to see a mission in a place like Kazakhstan.

No disrespect to those countries but I would prefer more familiar locations like Madrid, Venice, or even Rome and the Vatican state.

It really depends as i know a lot of people want a snowy themed mission and a country like Mongolia would be perfect for it as 1) its cold and 2) its in Central Asia

There is also a ski resort called Dahewan international ski resort in Mongolia (North Eastish)

Which game would this duck be more at home in?

  • Other (non-WOA)
  • Fuck the ducks

I stumbled on this on Reddit (credit: Spanky-0147, c. 2016) and was going to post it to the memes thread. However, I realized my knowledge of the games before 2016 is limited to what I’ve heard about them from others (though I have started to dabble in playing them myself). I thought it better to poll people with more direct, hands on, experience than to look like an idiot, hence my question. For context, he OP to go with the picture was: “If we had rubber ducks in hitman contracts.”

Definitely Absolution as i found that it has that “dirty” vibe to it. For example the strip club mission and the obseen amount of cleavage and such in the game eg the Nuns or the Cowgirl from the shooting range.
So i reckon it would be perfect for that games style of dark, gritty 2012 movie style, trying to be actiony and not doing s very good job at it. :joy:

Edit: I have myself not played the older three games only WoA, BM and Absolution so there outta the picture

You should definitely pick them up during a steam sale or something, all three games are very, very good. I personally prefer them over all the other games, especially in terms of story and atmosphere.
