GTA VI leaks

I have seen the leaks.
They did not change any expectations. Game seems solid.
But they made me realise that I just didn’t really cared about the game. Not in a “it’s beneath me” kind of way. More of a “damn, I outgrew it” kind of way.
I remember my hype for gta 4 as a teenager, gta 5 at the start of college. But now…
I will certainly play it, but I don’t think I will connect with it.
Same for me. I was more hyped by Red Dead Redemption 2 though.
I have only seen some glimpses of the leaks, and by them I’m sure Rockstar will deliver a good game that will be exactly what people expect from it. But it’s not like I really care so much about it anymore, I will play it for sure, but it’s not that “I can’t wait to play it!!”-feeling.
Maybe I’m just old.
I’ve only ever really played one Grand Theft Auto game and that was the very first one. I’ve seen bits and snippets of the subsequent games but never actually played them so I’m not sure I really care one way or another about what may or may not be in Grand Theft Auto 6.
I would be VERY interested in a Red Dead Redemption 3 though.
Nope. If the developers aren’t ready to show it then I don’t care to see it because there’s nothing concrete to see.
I’ve never really understood the fascination with leaks. I’d much rather experience a game for myself, especially in this case, when so much is subject to change. Everything up until I can pick up a controller and play a game myself is hype and smoke and largely irrelevant.
Besides, the time I would waste watching leaks is time that could be spent playing actual, finished games. (And I just so happen to be enjoying GTA V at the moment. )
I haven’t kept up with GTA after it moved beyond the “3” era, because that was so content-filled as it was, consisting of 5 games. But this one I might get in on, because Vice City was my favorite location. But, only if they put it in the 80s again, because that was half the glamor of VC.
Agreed. Or at least the 90s, I feel like the modern setting is getting a little stale.
I’ll accept early 90s at the latest, no later. It’s fine driving through downtown Vice City in a blue convertible blaring Wherever I May Roam from Metallica’s Black Album in 1991. There’s nothing that says Florida gangster about doing the same thing in 1999 while Backstreet Boys sing I Want It That Way. Not that I have a problem with them or that song, but let’s keep GTA and Vice City in particular away from that era, shall we?
I did “see” them but I still voted with the opposite because I had a hard too-long-didn’t-watch moment when seeing the amount of them.
Also GTA5 left such a banal/generic impression to me that I expect the same for the next game. I guess I will only start hyping when I learn that Multiplayer is not again the focus of the next decade of milking GTA.
i watched the whole leak thing. i’m expecting it to be pretty dang amazing and the footage so far hasn’t dented that expectation. i don’t expect it to be a patch on gta iv or rdr 1 or 2, but even a duff gta is head and shoulders above most other open world games, imo.
I’m so sick to death of multiplayer and multiplayer qualities being put into games where they don’t belong, I could puke.
Then importing the entire Vice City soundtrack it is

Great, not only will it not be in the 80s or 90s, but it won’t have any real music in it. Fantastic. What’s next, they gonna have Beyoncé’s songs in it?
Sees the forum’s Beyoncé stans get ready to defend her
stfu, I don’t care.
you put some respect on beyonce’s name
Not happening. The only enjoyable thing she ever gave us was her role in Goldmember and paving the way for Kelly Rowland to be in Freddy vs Jason.
