Yes or No...? 2

And he’s a doctor, so you know he’s well educated in making a sofa product formula. The thing is, that means he spent a lot of time and money going to school and getting a doctorate from university, and I think he wasted most of that, because you don’t need a degree to realize that carbonated syrup is tasty. I would have bought that shit from a Mr. Pepper. Or even a Señor Pepper!

Not big on Zimmer, but ‘Time’ from Inception would have to be the most definitive track from any Nolan film.

With the Lucky Ducky Suit being rewarded in ET Arcade it makes me think of the Merch Store.

So what if items sold in the merch store also gave you an in-game code to unlock the same item? So you could wear your Ducky Hoodie IRL while wearing it in-game? :hushed:

Then you’d post pics of your Hitman swag online with 47 in the background to help drive more sales. Be sure to tag IO-Interactive.

Er, anyway. Do you think this sounds like a good idea? You could buy gloves in the merch store and then have them in the game. Or a blue tie, purple neon electro-diaper, or whatever.

  • Yes. It’s both DLC and tangible Merch. I’d support IOI and get an in-game bonus.
  • No. I’ll take whatever for free, or would rather just buy it for in-game or for IRL and not the other. I can choose what clutters my inventory in the game or my closet/display shelf.

This probably isn’t a very good poll. Take the Ducky Hoodie for example. Or that Rude Ruby tracksuit. If it were DLC I definitely would not buy it… And maybe that’s why it was essentially free (minus a small effort in ET Arcade). And it gives us something.

But it’s not outside the realm of possibilities that IO could sell similar items in the merch store. I’ve only ever bought a Hokkaido Foul Play t-shirt and large red ICA mousepad. So would I take advantage of an in-game code to unlock a Foul Play t-shirt for 47 to wear? I suppose I would.

This sounds like a horrible idea :upside_down_face:

However, on the terms of having merch based on the in-game items is something I like and I’d wish to see more of that.

I will never buy anything irl to get something in a game. The power of money should stay away from the game. If IOI introduces mtx in the next hitman game I won’t buy the game.

In all honesty, I’d be OK with only one in-game outfit if that’s what the game offered. While I don’t personally like the “signature” suit, if it were all there was, I wouldn’t complain too much about it.

In real life though I would absolutely wear the duck or ruby rude stuff, but I rarely leave my house so it doesn’t much matter what I wear most of the time.

The only piece of tangible merch i want is a proper Providence pin. A good quality acrylic 3D pin.

Inception, of course. At a time when life was at its roughest, this soundtrack uplifted me. Particularly this song:

This song always put me on a right place of mind. I even used 2:32 as an alarm back then. I never got tired of it.

I’m still so damn salty this didn’t win Best Original Score at the Oscars. Seriously? Dream Is Collapsing, Mombasa, Dream Within a Dream, Paradox, and Time! HOW?!?

I can talk about this movie for hours (or minutes). I still remember the first time I saw it back in 2010 and rewatched it on IMAX on the re-release. I love this movie and the soundtrack.

I like the lucky ducky hoodie but I’d personally want to buy it when I’m ready to spend 50 odd quid on it.
Just realised that the idea you have would be redundant if you just unlock the lucky ducky suit in game

Goddamn that’s tough, but I’m gonna go with Gus, because he’s an absolute gangsta boss and usually ten steps ahead of every-fucking-body.

Lalo, however, is more enjoyable on a moment to moment basis. He grins like the Joker, and looks like the Mexican Burt Reynolds.

Gus is sus so he is clearly better

Have you ever watched Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul?

  • Yes - they looked good and held my interest
  • No
  • No - but don’t tell Heisenberg
  • No - they aren’t really my cup of tea

remarkably, i watched all of breaking bad, but it got a bit too soap opera-y for my tastes and, though it wasn’t bad, i didn’t enjoy it as much as my wife.

i saw a few episodes of bcs, but we lost interest pretty quickly.

I haven’t watched BB yet. It always seemed like it’d be dark and depressing. Not a big fan of things filled with profanity either.

BCS? Thanks to one of the polls posted above - I did look up videos on that Lalo Salamanca guy and it’s got me interested.

And apparently, I know absolutely nothing about the show either (I mean, obviously). I’ve seen memes here and there about Saul Goodman, and with it starring Bob Odenkirk I thought it’d be more like Curb Your Enthusiasm. Now I’m certain I’m way off on that idea as well.

first season was funny and dark. it kinda lost some of that early quirk as it went on.

the cat got sliced up like all the other trash once the garbage truck came, unless someone heard meowing from the trashbin. which is unlikely as theyre pretty soundproof
