Just wanted to post this thread for any developments once the game comes out of how to get the various skins and if there’s alternate ways than getting editions or promotions, but I also wanted to ask for anyone who’s checked the marketing material is the Legacy Edition items of the Golden Gun and suit provided via code and is this code platform exclusive?

I believe at least half of the suits announced are already unobtainable for most people, so I wouldn’t get any exited about completion.
The game isn’t out yet and it’s already impossible to 100%.

This game has a collectors edition exclusive skin.
An entirely seperate Signature edition exclusive skin.
One skin for owning Hitman WOA
One other for playing Hitman WOA during an elusive target time frame.
5 coca cola skins you can’t actually get unless you are lucky to live in whatever part of the world has that promotion.

All the edition/Coke skins will probably get wrapped up into $5 DLCs that will be sold later on. We all know how fond IO is of those.
Though a better way to do it, instead of squeezing every possible dollar out of their players, would be to distribute them as Twitch Drops (since its already been confirmed those are coming at some point).

It’ll probably be a while though, given that it took them 5 years to release the Trinity pack.
Also, I don’t think It’s been confirmed, but I’m confident we will get platform exclusive suits. More reason to not bother.

What? That’s been available for years - it was put up for purchase after 2.5ish years on August 17, 2023.
Wait, really? My mistake then, I was pretty sure It came out last year lol (I feel so fucking old now). Still, almost 3 years to release it is kinda high.
Razer has a promo that includes the “ESPRESSO COMMAND” outfit

There is an FAQ at the bottom that confirms that “This exclusive item can only be unlocked via Razer for a limited time” & that it’s an IOI account code.

You’ve gotta start wondering how many other deals there are out there where you have to buy something to get a random skin in the game. IO aren’t announcing these anywhere (that I’ve seen) - its just people are stumbling across them and are sharing the news.

At this point I’m wondering if someone at IO woke up one day and said: “you know what, I feel like hating completitionists today, no reason, I just want to fuck them” and then started doing all this promotions.
TacSim better be a fricking master piece and get support for like 10 years, or else people who go through the effort of getting these suits are gonna be pissed.

Can’t be bothered to do the math’s here, but completionists will be spending hundreds just for a handful of skins.

Hopefully not. Because once the promos end, you just know someone is going to be posting and tagging Arti asking what the plans are for making them more widely available. No point asking while the promos are still running since I doubt an answer beyond “at this stage, its only available by XXX” would be given.

It’s insane how all-in they’ve gone from the start for exclusive skins with this game! Seems like every company under the sun is getting one. Surprised there’s not one exclusive to buying a $300,000 Aston Martin!
And by the way, I find it incredibly funny that one of the few perks of getting the Deluxe Edition is the four skins, and at launch day they’re giving away a cooler golden version of the skeleton suit for free via a Twitch Drop!
Bold of you to think they aren’t gonna try more stuff like this in Hitman WoA! Already it’s filled with annoying ads for 007 First Light and the Hitman board game when you start up the game

I redeemed the Daring Elite in the GeForce Rewards, just in case for future. So yeah, its working now.
