2016 ETs as Special Assignments

But I also want to throw my 2 cents in with an idea I have. I was thinking about special assignments and how while I don’t want IO to advertise them like Bonus Missions, I wouldn’t mind a couple more if they were free. I also dislike that there’s an entire campaign tab dedicated to four missions whereas the bonus missions will probably grow. But I think their effort should be on escalations, bonus missions like I said and ETs. But I was thinking, there’s an easy way to make free special assignments.

Alright so 17 times 3 is 51, right? Back on the old forum I had an idea to have ETs constantly rotate when they make 52. So there’s 1 every week. Well 51 is close enough to 52, get what I’m saying? There’s 26, or effectively 25 ETs from 2016. They could take 8 or 9 of the 2016 ETs and introduce them as permanent special assignments. This gives them enough room to make up to 17 ETs for the Hitman 2 & 3 maps each in order to have an even spread for each location, barring Hawke’s Bay which is fine with just 1 and Romania which shouldn’t get any. But that still leaves room for even Mumbai, New York and Haven to get ETs.

They could also make it so ET suits from 1 & 2 are out into the mastery track, even the imperial classic and maybe the wetsuit for consistency’s sake. That way since there’s no need to have two per location ETs like the Surgeons made into Special Assignments and just leave the Fugitive as the lone Hokkaido ET.

Decided to just spin this off into its thread. What ETs would you like to have made into special assignments? The rules are you can’t change anything physically in the level, it has to be the same ET but as a replayable mission. So it’ll be seeable in instinct, it’s that affects your decision. Except if identifying the target is part of the mission, then it’ll be not viewable. And you can pick any ET or ET version. Even The Guru or the Wild Card, which is now combined with the congressman and isn’t probably never coming back respectively.

My picks would be: The Ex-Dictator, The Surgeons and The Badboy.
