What am I doing wrong that I’m setting up the meeting between Akka and Crest, they go to the ruined pirate castle, she tells him to enjoy the view and they’ll reconnect in the morning, and she doesn’t push him off the edge?
I’ve already done this in a past playthrough. So I know it happens and have created it. Why can’t I recreate it? The only thing I can think of is in this playthrough, I started the canister leak before setting up the meeting.

While just f*cking around with the new level I devised this alternate cannon kill for Noel Crest. You could potentially do this without knocking people out if you used (for instance) a durian or two to get rid of the guards by the cell, but I went the safe route for the sake of the experiment.

noticed something a lot. when trying to distract Akka’s bodyguard he doesn’t go to check it or someone else checks it. probably an AI oversight that’s yet to be fixed. hell at times she checks it if i’m not mistaken.
It’s crazy that a cannon kill is an accident.

There are numerous bodyguards in WoA who do that, who don’t wander away no matter what unless you use an emetic on them.

yet Crest is the only one worthy of being bodyguard lol. which since he’s related to the Colorado militia it really makes me wish some of those targets fought back. they are militia soldiers for a reason.

I’m not entirely certain, but I believe gunpowder that is old enough can spontaneously combust.
@BEowen @Heisenberg @Axwage to add on how i did it i used the area where you see familiar faces talk about a certain movie star. knocked the woman out and knocked out the two guards near the place where Akka and Crest talk just so there was no way they could see them die or me pick locking. tossed a golf ball at the satellite system. shot the button for the beacon. hulled ass back to the place they were to meet. shot Akka and stuffed her body in the closet and got my rifle quick before her bodyguard barged through the door looking for her. and went in shot Crest and stuffed his ass in the closet. and said goodbye to the sniper rifle and hopped on the under the bridge exit. was trial and error that took serious luck and made it out with my rating intact. took using internet pointers and saying hell no to the far away shot and went through the island quietly like the grim reaper whispering in the wind.
It’s days like these that I curse the Chinese for inventing gunpowder.
It has been noted to do that and certain types of dynamite also become extremely volatile as they age and the nitro leaches out. Don’t know why old gun powder auto-ignites though.
