I remember he said that after I investigate the laptop near the satellite control unit, after you discover Crest’s plan about using the Caruso’s virus for his scopes.
Something interesting: Agent Smith and the hostage don’t witness any crime performed in front of them. Therefore, you can kill Akka while she’s talking to the hostages and retain SA rating (if you’ve previously removed her bodyguard from the equation of course).
Makes sense. Unlike that dickhead in Mumbai who runs away and snitches on you if you kill Dawood and save him. Dumb as fuck.
Jip, I think that and the “fire through walls” will be patched out.
I’ve got my answer on speerun.com website:
We will have a week long embargo on the new Ambrose Island level, Season 2 full game, and Trilogy categories, in the interest of letting people enjoy this map casually and also to think about how or if to fit the new map into a full game category.
We will add the new map to speedrun.com on August 2, and we will also have a poll on August 2 regarding Ambrose Island’s status in the full game categories.
Thanks for your understanding.
Just did this. It’s nice to have the remote audio distraction come in handy for a unique kill. Nicely done Kent!
Very short clip that showcases my favorite sniper kill on this map.
- Epic sniper’s nest
- Long distance kill
- No need to be anywhere near the target during setup.
- Hidden body.
Did this last night, after your recommendation. It’s a good one. Just be sure to bring a sniper rifle that packs enough punch, and to shoot from the best possible angle: you might not fully get his body in the water, and his guards will turn around to investigate the bullet impact.
I don’t know if anyone’s mentioned this, and pardon the cell phone picture, but there’s a dig spot right here that has a Jarl’s Saber. This would bypass the need to do the Monkey Island EE for the saber.
Up the stairs to the ruins from Crest’s satellite, to the right. You can get a shovel over by the hippie and biology student.
Tagging @Heisenberg, this might save you some major fucks.
Yeah I found that spot as well, which means you can have two sabers and be the best pirate they’ve ever seen
Yeah. This is why I wait for him to stand up a bit. Flings him further.
Have a good one for Akka?
Not as of yet. May in fact not exist any that fit my criteria for “good”, but I’m still looking.
Currently on pause with Akka though. I’m busy trying to triple shot pull Orson from the Colonial ruins. It’s a bitch.
Do you allow for NPCs to be knocked out and stuffed in bins? If so, I might have one in mind.
It sort of depends on which NPCs, and how many we’re talking about, but probably yeah.
Edit: I mean I’m sure if you knock out her personal guard and the two outside the door of her office you can just get her in there.
I think I caught something… (Lucky Cat Easter Egg)
Video on how to do it
That explains the cat on the easter egg shirt you can buy at the merch store.
Was what I had in mind.
I don’t know if this has been adressed already since I’m too lazy to read the 400 unread post on this threat but you can unlock the “Pirates life for me” redacted challenge by bringing the Jarl’s pirate saber you unlock in Heaven from the planning screen, that way you can skip going treasure hunting for the sword and go straight for the kills.
Also, can anyone do Farrah’s tasks a second time? I did them fine on my first playthrough but then she refuses to talk to 47 on every other run after that.
She seems to only react on the photo after that.
