Must… not… cry…
I could change the name but I have to admit it is pretty good as it is now.
Is it just me or are there an insane amount of items on this map? I usually pick items up every time i see one and I ended up with a crazy amount of items. I’m ok with it honestly, I’d rather every house and building have something in it than a whole bunch of useless empty buildings so y’know
Seems like they really went all in with the Tools and usage for this map to where they needed to be supplied quite heavily. A lot of runs do require at least one tool to work effectively. Even gave some fun usage to Breaching charges and Remote Explosives which was great to see. Hope they can continue with that moving forward.
and the client is locksley
Does somebody know of the satellite control unit on the first hand something is the pirates have, or does Crest and his crew bring it as part of there operation?
I’m pretty sure Haven wasn’t announced yet. We only knew that new map would be released but no details at that point. Even though the pamphlets, good chance that this location might make sense plot-wise (new identities for the Partners) and “We’re going to paradise, 47” tease from Gray led a lot of people into thinking that Haven indeed was going to be the new location, but we didn’t know for sure. (Unless there were leaks already but I honestly don’t remember)
You’re probably right that we didn’t know anything about Haven yet, but my point was that, at the time, we all knew that a second location was coming, even if we didn’t know anything about the map itself.
As of now, they’ve given zero indication that a second map is in the works.
Now I had some time to play the level and reflect on it. It’s no secret that it wasn’t a level I was really excited about or was really looking forward too. This was based on the level being another tropical level that seemed to rely heavily on the same gameplay loop as ‘Freedom Fighters’ (the mission, not the level). Overall I been disappointed with this trilogy’s tropical levels.
Now that I had the time to play around and explore the level. It put my fears to shame, it wasn’t as restricted as I thought it would be and no way near ‘Freedom Fighters’. Both targets are interesting and it’s awesome to see yet another target who isn’t a glorified civilian. It’s a gorgeous level, especially the light system really gets to flex in the dark jungle. Walking around with a touch, has some impressive illumination.
Also I take the hats of to Agent Smith. It was fun to encounter him in Hokkaido, yet this time around he wasn’t there was more to his presence. Standing there in a cage in his classical underpants. One of the best throwbacks to the older games.
I actually really like this map, I thought I would be indifferent.
Can someone attach an image of this Ether Pamphlet? I have yet to see it
Thanks in advance!
I already reported this as a bug!
Its just the wrong model, its the one we see in the untouchables cutscene laying in the coffin.
My personal favorite
Haven’t read through the thread since Ambrose Island went live because I’m still doing Challenges and have Mastery levels still to reach before I hit level 20, but this is such a fantastic map and mission so far. So many great ways to interact with various Mission Story-style threads, and it seems like you can move the targets around a fair bit as well. I can’t wait to see the rest!
Yeah, it´s got a nice sound to it, not gonna lie. (Still want them as targets though!)
Po means Butt in german. Doesn’t sound so cool when you speak german
I always wondered, does Popo means Buttbutt than?
i think Po is just the shortened version.
