Is there anything to the intel about the cigarettes that Hsu smokes? Or is it just a bit a dialogue to point to his existence?
It is meant to point him out to people who might not do what Farah asks them to do. (Because they spent a fucking hour looking for damn coconuts or looking for that fucking cigar box)
Well, someone’s got to cook the food.
Argh, matey!
(These are clues.)
Ah right thanks
the cook is one, dunno how I forgot that.
Do I have to do the Guybrush Threepwood EE to get that outfit?
No. There’s a chest somewhere you can open that contains a suit. It is not inaccessible and I wager you just need to keep exploring, argh.
Addendum: despite said chest’s content being a suit in our suit collection, it counts as its own disguise on this map.
Tbh the lack of disguises is something that’s been plaguing H3 as a whole, so there being only 7 here is pretty much this season’s standard… But the small number of locations/points of interests surprised me as well.
Does anybody know if there are any cutscene/scripted style kills in this mission? For example pushing Jordan Cross off the roof has its own unique little cutscene that triggers as does feeding Rico Delgado to his hippo. Is there anything similar to that?
Most of the kills I’ve seen so far seem pretty generic.
3 pistol shots will blind panic the nearby guards, which causes them to instantly spot you if they see you close to the place you fired the shots. This makes shooting it pretty damn risky.
No, there aren’t. HITMAN 3 only has two cinematic kills overall afaik.
Thanks bud. Now that you mention it that sounds about right. Out of curiosity what are the 2 as I’m struggling to remember myself and now you’ve planted the seed in my head
Finishing off Yates with the letter opener after Diana has stabbed him and smothering Carlisle with a pillow in the private crying chamber.
Thanks I suppose there are also some which SEEM cinematic too such as killing Hush by frying his brain in the chair but no actual cutscene.
Don’t you also get a cutscene when you stab Yates with the pen as the lawyer?
It is, though it’s esssentially a reused animation/angle from the previous 3 pen kills I think
The reason for this is when brought in it’ll act like a regular full sized shotgun, and start on 47s back.
After triggering the meeting between targets, you can still disguise as the hippie and gain access to the tower. You can even watch Akka killing Crest without being suspicious.
The guard that runs to Akka to inform her about your presence will awkwardly follow her around. This can be problematic if you set up the explosion since he can be a casualty if you are unlucky. I did not test if he would talk to her if the meeting properly ended, but I think he would.
Probably already been mentioned, but I haven’t seen it, so :
If you put a remote detonated bomb in a briefcase and throw it so one of the cave guards hear it they’ll stash the briefcase right next to the objective. Just detonate and move on.
I thought guards disarmed bombs before storing them? I mean, clearly not. I must’ve hallucinated it.
I remember playing around with breaching charges a long time ago, trying to get an explosive kill on a guard, and discovering that once a guard picks it up, you can’t detonate it, but once he puts it down, you can set it off again.
So I think they’re just disarmed while they’re being carried.
