EMP Charge works on the satellite thing btw. Destroys it just like the virus in Sapi.
Well, you have to create a gasoline leak in the drum he’s standing next to prior to the meeting. Yes, it’s a little weird that you have to set up a kill at this spot before you go there with the target; I noticed another moment like that in this mission with another “mission story”.
Nice, it’s still very easy even without that though because a screwdriver and a knife can be found pretty much next to it.
Cool. Any explosive should do the job too
Is there any point in doing all the side quests for Farah? You can just place the photo on Akka’s table in her office.
I have written a first review on my tumblr account, if someone likes to check it out I’m very hyped, even if it’s nothing new or innovative. I still enjoy the level (of course)!
And some very first screenshots I did:
An Easter Egg!

Will post this in the easter egg thread too.
I’ve rescued Agent Smith, finally this feels like a Hitman Game
you can set a meeting for gather targets to same room
HITMAN 3 - Ambrose Island - “Guide of Easiest Suit Only / Silent Assassin”
Except for that voice… Ugh!
Just done my first playthrough. Finished Silent Assassin in 47:08 and now I’m cursing myself that I didn’t spend 39 extra seonds somewhere exploring.
Anyway, fantastic, nothing better than a new HITMAN map!
Who is providing voice for him? Somehow I doubt it is his original actor from BM or previous entries.
Haven’t been able to play yet; can anyone tell me if there is a combat or folding knife on the island?
Still discovering a lot and taking my time to enjoy the moment, but damn, this location is AMAZING already.
Very well developed and not rushed at all, despite being launched earlier than expected.
So much to explore, secrets to find, dialogues to hear. Even the village is very well populated and not full of empty houses. Great atmosphere and social life going on, good to see that it’s not a totally hostile location as some feared.
Not sure about Combat Knife, but I picked up a Folding Knife on my first playthrough tonight.
Excellent. After my first playthrough, for which I already have the methods of death planned out, the very next time, that knife is gonna meet Akka’s throat.
First run is finished. Did it with the default loadout (well a mkII version : shortballer, classic coin, classic fiberwire). So no easy way into locked doors.
It was fun.
The following is a write up I did of and during my first run. Obviously spoilers, but I would be intrigued to know how everyone else completed the mission on their first run.
I arrive at Farah’s.
I take in the atmosphere, the sights. There is a slapping competition, seems intriguing, but too high profile for the time being. The owner Farah hails me, she’s seeing 47 walking around, she proposes a job, I accept.
And so I go on to find a coconut for her.
At first I direct 47 to the village, because I think that maybe the beach would have some to find. There isn’t. What there is are some boats and a workshop. I listen to some conversation. One about some cigarette brand and Lance Hsu, one about missing tools, one about Crest’s boat, and how he would really like to go and see it once a mechanical issue is resolved. Interesting.
But no coconut.
I wander around the village, mostly to try to find some placed disguise. Because if I can find a way to finish this level on the first try without knocking anyone out, by walking only, and with no crouching or vaulting, I would be very happy. Ghost Social Stealth is my preferred way, and I will find it on this level.
I do not find any disguise, yet (I do not search every place). I do find an apology letter. Apparently there is something buried somewhere. Farah is a central figure around here. I really want to find some coconut for her and see where this goes now.
I move on back to the jungle, but a bit more north. I aim for the small beach north of the starting location. Maybe there is something interesting. I catch something with instinct in the trees. Some fruit. I shoot, thinking I finally found a coconut for Farah.
I didn’t, what I found are some Durian. Challenge “The Pew” unlocked, emetic item gathered, but still no coconut.
I arrive at the beach. A scripted food worker passes by the guard checkpoint. So this disguise has access. I take another note.
And then, I see it, the coconut ! I take it from the ground.
I am back at Farah’s, it talk with the owner. She takes the coconut. She wants 47 to follow her, she has another job.
It’s about what was stolen and Akka is linked to it, and to the apology letter. Intriguing. Apparently it’s “just a cigar box”, I’m on. This is Hitman, in the end this will give a way to eliminate a target, Akka I presume, at least for what I have currently.
So from this point I lock myself with the following : Crest with the boat, Akka with this hidden story mission. I stop exploring for exploration’s sake and go on with purpose.
In the meantime, I am back to the hut where I found the letter. There is a shovel, I take it and go back outside. I snoop around and find the buried box, it’s nearby, exactly where the intel image shows, and quite easy to find with a controller/vibration.
I am back at Farah. 47 is now officially a regular there. I give the cigar box, and Farah has a new job. Good old rule of three.
There is an hostage situation, in the ruins. Farah wants 47 to infiltrate and resolve the situation. Farah think it might be Hsu. Again someone I heard about before. That’s why I love Hitman design.
All in all this is the usual “provide food to hostage rescue” work pipeline.
I remember what I saw earlier, the food worker from the beach who walked by the guard up to the ruins. I know what my way in is. I look around Farah to find a disguise. There is one half sick in the food storage, I take a note of him, but I would still prefer to find a placed disguise.
I look around for five minutes before resigning myself, some knock out will happen on this first run.
I take the disguise and go to the ruins, by the jungle and the beach. A frisk is necessary. I bid my farewell to the Shortballer.
When 47 arrives, Grey recognize Sean 2. He is implied to have a keycard for the secondary objective. I also know from Grey that Akka has the other one. So I stick around to find a way to take Orson out. I have three Durians on me, so this is tempting. But it just feels sloppy. I’m here to discover the map, not break it (yet). Besides a guard tells me that my current disguise will not go further than this area, and not up to the ruins as I hoped.
Orson regularly eats from a fish dish nearby. I know who is going to eat a lot of sedative poison in the following runs. For now, I have some rat poison from the same storage room I took my disguise in.
While I wait for Orson routine to come back, I use a nearby generator to attract, subdue, and take the clothes of a militia guard.
Good things I did, because Orson goes back to the restricted area to puke.
One keycard down, and I am in the colonial ruin.
When I explore the ruins, I eavesdrop two militia guards talking about a dead captive. This might be it. Soon after I find Hsu, dead. i take a photo, challenge unlocked (by the way, I appreciate the toggle and easier unlock of the challenge). Nice to see the “dismiss guard” prompt back too.
Things went differently than I thought. I wonder if this is actually a way to create conflict between the targets. Hsu was Akka contact, and he was killed by Crest’s men. The boat opportunity might not be useful in this run, redundant.
I will see where it leads, I now suspect a proxy for Crest followed by an opportunity for Akka. Soon after I think that, Grey says the same.
My mission accomplished I go back to Farah. Since I suspect that the Satellite link is guarded by militia men, I keep my current disguise. I recover the Shortballer. I do have to climb down some root to avoid the guard checkpoint near the beach, one of them is an enforcer.
Speaking of enforcers, there is a lot of them at Farah’s for this disguise. I have to be careful, but manage to speak to Farah nonetheless.
Irrefutable challenge unlocked. Farah is going to talk with Akka. I follow her. Akka is furious and wants to make Crest “beg for is life”. Good, for a start.
Akka asks one of her man to light the signal. The targets are going to meet.
Akka stays alone in the room after that. with a locker behind her. Something useful to know
I don’t Grey, But when did that ever stopped you, I’m just following your advice and ways.
So, Crest drinks when he arrives, nice to know. I am very close to go and try to do two quickshots to eliminate them both. I even think that it is feasible in silent assassin. But I restrain myself. Akka proposes to Crest to take some air. I feel like this is not the normal meeting script, bu a consequence of my previous uncovering.
And then, woe of me. I cannot follow them. I don’t have access. For the first time, I reload an automatic save. I have to see it to the end. Also I really think that an opportunity to silent assassinate Akka exists at the end of the interaction. Crest is all but guaranteed to be proxied now. I lose ten minutes of gameplay and am back in the ruins.
I find a pirate disguise in the form of a NPC, near some barrack. I attract him with the vaccuum cleaner. I might have had to knock four people out, but at least I will do this first run prompt only (no coin or item throw)
And I am back to following the targets. I appreciate how each is an enforcer to their own men, at least they at good bosses. The targets are almost alone. They are also definitively next to a gas canister.
I recognize the setup from the trailer. Nice coverup/fakeout in the trailer by the way @Travis_IOI. As I thought, Crest is eliminated by Akka.
Since I recognized the setup, I know what needs to be done, fast. Before Crest is eliminated, I knock out the guards, leaving the two targets alone. (you can appreciate the three knockouts icon on the minimap above)
I then make Akka follow Crest. She carries the second keycard, as predicted.
Apparently, it’s all that is needed. The Satellite Link objective is done at the same time.
All objectives were done in a 30 second window, after almost an hour of preparation. The Hitman ™ experience : when all fall to its place in coordinated fashion. Perfect execution.
I go back to Farah’s, I change back to the Guerilla Wetsuit because I have standard. I call in Grey. I meet with him. Also : I really like the mechanic used to point to the potential extraction points. It’s promising. Hope to see it again.
Silent Assassin, 53 minutes and five mastery level for the first run. I haven’t (properly) been to the pirate hideout, nor the bridge, and even less to the Satellite link and the caves/tunnel. I like it.
You’re a scary man, Heisenberg, but I like you.
