It’s surprising that Miami and New York were the only two locations that turned out similar to how they were conceived. Just goes to show how much things can change during game development.

I guess the reason is that there wasn’t really funcional rain until Hitman 3 introduced it in Chongqing and as we only got one “Bonus Mission” so far that being Dartmoor Garden Show, this seems like the most logical reason.
And looking at the Intro Sequence in New York and how bad the Rain there looks compared to Chongqing, it’s most likely for the best. (I’d be 100% of board for it though, just preferably a Map that isen’t Colombia especially with the existence of Ambrose Island which has a lot of the best aspects of Colombia AND is a well connected Map.)

Do note what I said, the trademark is “HITMAN” (from like 2000).
New York, Colombia (Santa Fortuna) and Miami are part of 2 season.
Berlin, China (merged with Johannesburg) part of 3 season.
Russia + Antartic into Siberia sniper mission.

I always had the far-fetched hope that the Sniper Assassin missions would become their own complete missions to take part in and not just as a sniper.
I also dreamed of having an ET or two in a new/different Sniper Assassin mission.
Too bad the mobile Sniper Assassin games & stages weren’t brought onboard the actual console game itself…

I wish we’d get one last Sniper map set in Khandanyang. Or even some unlocks tied to the Mastery on Himmelstein and Hantu Port.
An Elusive Target in the Sniper missions would be interesting. Not sure how they’d work, but I’d love to find out.

They could have the ET be highly randomized, unpredictable, more than one (say, a music band/group or a reality tv/talk show cast), and make the ET(s) permanent. A guy can dream, right? Lol

There is apparently a tradition for writing trademarks for brand names in capital letters and specific products in lowercase. It’s a general rule.
In any case, I don’t suspect that the blogpost was referring to a 23-year-old trademark registration. There is a whole history to document that every PR-piece, interview, news, trailer, preview, review, forum post from IO etc. etc., used the spelling Hitman before 2016, and HITMAN for everything after.
The capital letters is a specific stylization that are part of the new games’ promo. So the blogpost was most likely referring to WOA, imo

Couldn’t they just keep using HITMAN as the name in future? No reason to specifically tie it to WOA.
