So do I, it would be very affirming if it wasn’t so annoying

That is easy for the guy who thinks Alien3 is better than Aliens to say…

Not necessarily better, but it’s more in line with the mood of the original and more what i expect from an Alien Movie.

Well at least those are good reasons.

Doesn’t beat: “You know, Burke, I don’t know which species is worse. You don’t see them fucking each other over for a goddamned percentage.”

The recent rerelease of The Surgeons has got me thinking about kill objectives on ETs. We got The Surgeons with the optional viruses, The Chameleon with the mandatory non-explosion accident kill, and the original ET version of Patient Zero would’ve required a lethal poison injection while wearing a hazmat suit to take him out. Outside of these, none of the other dozens of ETs across the trilogy had this sort of objective

My question is, would you have liked to see more ETs incorporate specific kill restrictions, either with the method used or restricted to a certain disguise?

  • Yes, with them being mandatory to complete the mission
  • Yes, but they’re optional (the only reward is 5 star Silent Assassin)
  • No, it’s good they didn’t do them more often
