@IOI_Artjoms by the way.
The thing that let’s say bothers me for quite a long time.
HITMAN has a complaint service about broken or uncencored content (whatever that means, I assume swear and innapropriate words etc) in Contracts Mode.
And from my knowledge it’s never followed by whoever is responsible, or there is nobody responsible.
There are I assume tons of “flagged” contracts which are not being removed.
I’m not following each and everyone, but at the moment I have two contracts in my history which are broken (have no targets) and incompetable.
I’m reporting them repeatedly every now and then in hopes they are finally removed, but the ship has never sailed.
Can you investigate on the system, who’s in charge, why the content is not being removed and so on, and finally make it work?
AFAIK it’s more about racism, homophobia etc, than swearing (which would be weird considering it’s everywhere in the game). Sadly it’s not really working, I’ve seen some really offensive stuff in the “trending” contracts that stayed there for weeks ![]()
And that must be rectified.
Maybe our new friend will push into it.
Fingers crossed
How does the contract become racist/homophobic if the targets are in-game NPCs? Is it in the description the player can give for the contract?
Description and/or title
On a video game that has no social or political commentary? Is there nothing people can’t spoil by jamming their opinions into!
Anybody knows if this conversation between bank clerk and 47 about 7-figure savings in New York has any impact on a mission plot?
Does it lead to anything?
It’s mainly just to give you easy access to a disguise that lets you walk around the first 3 levels of the bank and a handy spot to hide illegal items in the same area. No actual mission opportunity itself if I recall correctly.
It also gives you Janitor Key - but you can get that one from a security guard in bathroom where two bank robbers are.
Finally found out what this movie is. It’s called Xtro II: The Second Encounter. At last, I got it, after 25 years trying to remember enough of it to adequately search for it.
Holy shit, they made a second Xtro? I need to inform the Hack Frauds right away!
They made 3, and none of them have anything to really do with each other, so it’s more a thematic trilogy.
Ah so Xtro is like John Carpenter’s Apocalypse Trilogy. Exactly like his Apocalypse trilogy, quality and all, gotcha.
Well, I don’t know about that, as I’ve only seen The Thing and this movie, and between the two there’s no comparison. But, I haven’t exactly heard glowing praise for the rest of Carpenter’s “trilogy,” so I guess at least a 2:3 ration between them may be the case.
Xtro 2 and The Thing are really all the movies you will ever need.
You need better friends if they are shit talking In the Mouth of Madness. Like yeah maybe Prince of Darkness isn’t a 10/10 or even an 8/10 but it has Alice Cooper in it so it counts for something.
I dunno, I’d at least throw Jacob’s Ladder in there too.
Sure, I mean we are talking about trilogies so we might as well make it the third movie.
So, I have a question in regards to Hitman lore. In Craig Black’s profile, it says that ‘Cassandra Snow: New England Wiccan’ helped propel him into fame, three years ago. However, in the mission, I believe, it is said that there are six books. Did he write, like, two books a year, or did the series only gain popularity after New England Wiccan? But if that’s the case, why did he write the series so long when he hated it?
It’s never really stated. He could have written a couple of the books before publishing the first and when it was clear he had a hit, was compelled to continue. We also don’t know how long the books were, as we only see the size of the most recent one he’s signing for, and we don’t know how large a font is used for the words printed inside, so technically the books might not actually be that long, making it easier to write more in a shorter timespan. And since we don’t know how he spends his spare time, it’s possible he’s spent those three years just churning them out. My guess is that he had the first few written, maybe intended as a trilogy, and kept going after fan demand got huge. But, since this was only supposed to be an attention-getter and not how he wanted to be known as a writer, that’s what led to his frustration and his turn to villany with Nabazov’s cult.
There are several authors who have written a LOT of books within a year’s time. Not that hard to imagine, especially if the books aren’t that great. We aren’t talking Game of Thrones or Lord of the Rings here, most likely.
Mary Faulkner wrote 904 books
Jozef Kraszewki wrote 600 books
Ursula Bloom wrote over 500 books
Barbara Cartland wrote 23 novels per year at one point
John Creasey wrote over 600 books
