So I tried to subdue most of the bodyguards (in the suits) in Mendoza. Then to get the meeting in the theater(?) with Tamara. It seemed like they just spawned in from a distance then walked to the meeting place. So, my question is this…

Anybody know if these are guards that snap back into place? By “snap” I mean… Think of the commissioner(?) guy in Miami. You can KO him, even kill him and put him in a container. But he’ll reappear when it comes time to present the trophy to the race winner. So I’m thinking something similar happens here in Mendoza with these 5 guards.

Maybe marking them as targets in Contracts Mode? That’s assuming you can get the meeting to trigger with Tamara.

Edit: Come to think of it, there were probably some near the default starting area, near the cars and what-not that I never KO’d.

Edit2: Just a side note. You can leave the theater, maintain SA. Everything will calm down, but take one step back into the theater area and guards get instantly agro’d. They don’t even have to see you or hear anything.

I don’t know if the guards re-spawn but the musicians in that level each have one double that will spawn in the nearby bathroom if they are killed. There are some contracts available where the “new” musicians are targets.

PS I didn’t know the race director in Miami re-spawned. I thought the winner would just go up there without speaking to the director.

I haven’t seen it happen myself, but according to Count.Rushmore it did happen, at least in H2. I think I’ll take a look to see if this is still the case in H3. :male_detective:

Edit: I didn’t see it happen in H3. Meh. Oh well.

Very interesting. You could always go into contract creation mode to find out their names and then see if you could figure out where they are on the map. As you say, once they’ve been identified (assuming they are on the map to start with), it’d be interesting to see if they do teleport to the location.

I would assume more that they are copies of the said NPCs to ensure vital mission parts are not breaking. In COntract mode you might be able to tag both versions as unique targets just like it is with the band members.

That’s true. I was thinking once they’d been identified by name, you could start the mission again, mark them, and then trigger the event to see if they jump to the location.

Okay, I’ve done some testing and it turns out that the five bodyguards in the cinema are regular bodyguards on the map. Initially it will be her own bodyguard (Leighton McMahon) and four other bodyguards found on the map: Connor Baird [there are two] (he’s the one at the top of the stairs where the two female Heralds are chatting, overlooking the vineyard), Leon Khan (just inside the doorway next to Connor Baird), Nathaniel Richardson (starts with Tamara’s and Diana’s bodyguards, but when they first go to meet the head waiter he initially stands on the dance floor and then heads off to the bar area next to the waiter starting location), and Duncan Lindsay (found in the upper dancing area standing next to a gas heater, next to the two Heralds chatting).

After you trigger the third conversation with Tamara they begin to make their way to the cinema, following regular routes on the map (no teleporting). If you eliminate any of them, then a different bodyguard on the map will make his way to the location in their place. The first two substitutes are Felix Albert and Jermaine Crosby, but I suspect that the places just keep getting filled with the next nearest bodyguard. I haven’t tested when happens if you remove/eliminate every bodyguard on the map.

Fuck!!! I was in the middle of a kill all the guards run so I could try it out and it crashed. I’m not sure when my last save was…

Back to work.

Edit* crash crash crash. It’s not gonna happen.

Does this forum have that post cool down thing for a topic. Like, it said on the last forum that, after three posts, you had to wait for someone to respond

Yeah, you can only post in a topic three times in a row. I think the only exception is if you created the topic.

Hey! Still alive, just less active in terms of video games while I try to figure out unemployment and the mortifying ordeal of being known via job applications. Pray for me…

Okay guys, need some advice here. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated very much! For the past week now, I had a mouse in my house :flushed: as far as I can tell it’s just one, but at this point I’m not sure. I don’t know if it’s a male or female. I’m hoping it’s a male cause if not and it’s pregnant, I’m royally screwed lol the last time I had a mouse was so so long ago (probably like 6-7 years ago I’d say?) ended up getting him back then no problem and haven’t had a problem since, until now. It’s really starting to get on my nerves because I tried everything imaginable and nothing is working. I set traps, sticky traps, even made this homemade “bucket mouse trap” myself thanks to a YT video I found. This mouse must be a genius cause it’s been a week now and I still sometimes see the little bastard run across my floor taunting me ”you’ll never catch me!” :mouse2: :rage: I’m almost certain it’s just this one and I really don’t wanna call an exterminator just for one little mouse. Someone please help! I love animals but the idea of him running around pissing and shitting everywhere is giving me severe anxiety! Constantly disinfecting everywhere too. I just want him out!!! Any suggestions? Here are what I used so far (keep in mind, I used these in the past and it work very fast) this little guy, as I said, seems to be a smart little guy…

Snap Trap (also made by “TomCat”)

And this is the bucket trap video I found and replicated as well…

I hope I don’t offend anybody. Believe me, I love animals too, I don’t wanna kill him but it’s grossing me out cause how dirty they are and the diseases they potentially carry. And knowing it’s in my house… if only one could politely ask it to leave and it actually would :joy: some people said maybe try to capture it alive and let it free outside but then he could just come right back in again in the future. Many may not realize but mice can actually be very smart.

By the way, I used peanut butter on the snap traps. I hear they really like that more so than cheese. Plus using the peanut butter is a greater chance the mouse can’t just take the bait and leave (like if it were cheese) they really have to get in there to get it cause it sticks to the mechanism

If you’re concerned about hurting or killing them you might try making something like this…

I just downloaded Hitman 3 on PS5 after moving from PS4, all the maps have transferred except New York and Haven Island, due to the expansion pass.

I had a disc of Hitman 2, and bought the expansion pass on the PS Store. I have a digital PS5 so I can’t put the disc into that.

The access pass in the H3 store for NY and Haven is full price, any idea how I can get my maps back for free?

Wow, that is actually really cool design idea. Seems simple enough that I believe I could replicate it. At this point I will try anything. Thank you very much!
