I kinda wish there was 1 primary target/objective and then the agents to kill aswell. The mission may have had a bit more sense of direction, sort of like Death on the Mississippi in a good way.
You really should have sticked around then. Morganâs dialogue about cricket is so hilarious itâs way better than all generic stuffs those agents spew around.
Untitled Goose gameâŚ
I managed to kill all agents in one run. Olivia commented it right away. The remaining targets got the same escape route so it was easy to catch them there
If you want to kill all the agents in one run, what you can do is knock out the first 5, and then kill the next 5 normally. Evacuation is only triggered when you kill 5 agents, not when you knock them out. Thatâs what I did, although annoyingly when the mission exit triggered the unconcious agents lost their red outlines, and I had to figure out which knocked out bikers were my targets so I could keep my SA rating.
As for the mission and level, I really like it. Iâm kindof glad they decided to try the multi-target idea again, it is an idea that seems to occasionally pop up in Hitman. Like the Mississippi River from Blood Money, and Colorado tried it with its 4 targets, although I donât think Colorado was succesful. (I acutally like the river boat level from BM, but that seems to a be an unpopular opinion.)
I think for all intents and purposes I think the targets having short routes and most of them being easy is pretty neccesary for this kindof thing though. I donât think youâd want targets to have 10 minute routes so you have to wait to do a very specific run.
Mind you, I will say though that with there being a decent chance of Hitman 3 getting bonus missions, I think Berlin is the most deserving of getting a bonus mission with say 2 traditional targets.
did anybody notice how much more racy this map is contrasted with the whole trilogy? much closer to the Absolution / Contracts vibes then WoA trilogy.
the stripper pole in Rolfâs office, the guards talking about porn, the people taking drugs (of course, thereâs always been drugs in the trilogy, but it was usually disconnected from real people)
I thought it would be more BDSM like the Meat King level but I love this mission. I didnât know the club was going to be so huge
Warming up to this mission now I know where more of the targets are. The most obvious ones after Ziegler shows you to the dancefloor are also some of the most awkward to peel away from the crowds, but the ones outside & in the other building have nicer setups.
Anyone know what to do with bird egg?
absolutely loved this level.
Agreed. There shouldâve been a main target whoâs connected to the level as well as the agents. Maybe even make the main target optional once finished the level at least once.
Still itâs an interesting gimmick even if the targets basically guards.
Only just arrived at Berlin and played 10-15 minutes of this map so far (I like to go deep into a location before moving on to the next), but this has by far put the biggest smile on my face in terms of atmosphere so far. Exactly was I was hoping for.
Obviously a nod to âBerghainâ in Berlin, for instance the fact that you have to put a sticker over your phone camera to get in. Also, the bouncer deciding who gets in or not is clearly inspired by Sven Marquardt.
My first playthrough of the map took me almost 1 hour. I took it slow probably because i didnât read anything about the map and was completely blinded, lol
I think this level was a nice change of phase from the levels from the previous two previous game in the trilogy. It reminded a lot more of Contracts and Silent Assassin, the thing that made it an instant hit with me was targets who could fight back. It really made me feel like a predator stalking another predator, proving that 47 being superior.
This map summarized in a gif
I got to say that Berlin did something special to me. It kind of went in another direction in terms of feel and atmosphere.
When you start the level on the dark road it almost feels like a different game. I got all kinds of impressions from this. It was like a scene from the beginning of a horror movie before the accident, the unknownness of what to come, the mystery.
I frankly wouldnât be surprised if Michael Myers were making a brief entry to that gas station. Combined with some Stranger Things-vibe with that light and beautiful level design.
This level basically comes close to the atmosphere and feel I hope for Hitman in the future being more dark, horror-like and mystery feel.
Well done to the IO team behind this level!
Unfortunately Berlin is my second least favourite mission I kinda wish all the targets had a unique death or even a proper routine and I wish we had at least one or two main targets but also some way of stopping the handler from telling them to fall back after the fifth kill like I want to kill them all in as many ways as possible but canât because they all run away after five
i agree with this, but please use some punctuation
Can anyone whoâs unlocked the Radio Tower starting location tell me if you can choose your own suit when starting there?
Someone will figure out how to kill 4 and then set up a double kill or triple kill to get over 5. I also wonder if they actually retreat to the van? You could beat them there and put em all down.
Is there a trick to the Herr Ziegler Plus One challenge? I donât get a prompt to interact with him like Iâve seen on some YouTube videos, both before and after getting the pills, his phone call doesnât seem to be getting triggered which causes the interaction to become available.
Edit: Figured it out. You have to kill the agent in the woods and take his earpiece for some reason. You canât just run past him.
