Where’s @MvpAgent47 with all my HUD-less runs for the true roleplaying pro?
We have the same solution but arrive at the answer in very different ways. I can see your rules are going to be much more challenging than mine. I can’t wait to see how you handle Bangkok if you’re starting in suit only.
The best suggestion I was given for exiting the map, is to get the briefcase out of Morgan’s Queen Suite office. That should get rid of one of the guards in the basement, then hopefully you can use coins to distract the other and dodge the camera. I didn’t try it, because I didn’t want to go all the way up to Morgan’s suite.
I started in my suit in the attic, and I got to the fireworks control a lot easier. Then I just went through the frisk zone to go up one floor. And I exited through the basement kitchen. Similar, but very different.
Obviously you’re not worried about fingerprints, which are all over Sapienza, including on the wench that “failed” at the wrong time. I used the housekeeper’s disguise, and I didn’t have to worry about the enforcer on the other side.
I gave in to the banana in New York. Don’t know how else you can do that.
So far, we’re killing the targets in exactly the same manner.
I’m sorry to disappoint you but I gave up on Bangkok lol, and it was actually because of Morgan. I just couldn’t replicate that push kill without getting spotted by some random asshole. I ended up starting in the chef outfit and drowning him after poisoning his food.
The Cross method worked like a charm, so at least there’s that.
Yeah, I had already decided to ignore the gloves rule.
So far the run I’m the most proud of is Marrakesh, I should have a video of it soon.
It took a while and many, many failed attempts to work out the timing on the Morgan push. Sometimes his bodyguard would not drink his beverage, which was annoying. Sometimes the staff in the shack would look up from his phone. Other times either the security guard or the waiter would see. One time the gentleman who was on the phone and walks away saw me walking back.
Finally, I got it figured out where it worked most times. Glad the Cross kill was easier.
Imo, if you want to be doing these runs, they should only start at points where it makes sense that 47 would/could be starting at. Starting in the attic, there’s lots of trespassing points you’re bypassing which doesn’t make sense, at least from a HARDCORE settings style.
It’s pretty easy to reach the attic from the default start if you go into the basement and take the stairs to 2F. You’re just saving a bit of time with the attic start.
I know it’s easy, I’m just saying in order to play it more authentic to the settings, you shouldn’t be starting in places where you bypass opportunities to be spotted.
I think 47 should be starting the mission at places where he would/could be entering the mission for the first time.
I get that. I think I gave up that idea after Sapienza. How would you kill the virus starting from the plaza bench or the boat? You can’t use bullets, bombs, or knock out anyone to get a dongle.
I started in the lab, which would violate your rule. I think of the eight ways to kill the virus, the only way that didn’t violate my rules was to raise the temperature from inside, and that was the only way I could get inside.
I’ve finished all the maps, I’m uploading the videos of all my runs now. You can ghost run all WoA maps, through Mendoza. Doing it by my rules, you can’t ghost run Carpathian Mountains. It’s impossible.
My five maps that gave me the toughest time to ghost run on master difficulty and getting Silent Assassin (excluding Romania):
- Bangkok. Both kills took some working out, and then I had to figure out how to get off the map.
- Colorado. Penelope Graves, why won’t you die. The solution that finally work came out of desperation because I could think of nothing else.
- Marrakesh. Both kills are really easy, but getting into the school took some effort. Traveling through the garage three times to get a stupid screwdriver nearly bored me to death.
- New York. Again, kill was easy. Figuring out how to get the second part of the mission in ghost mode was not. Thanks for the help I got in this thread, I got there eventually.
- Isle of Sgail. Getting the timing down on the Sophia kill took a lot of effort. And the Zoe kill wasn’t easy either.
Most of the other missions were pretty easy. All of Hitman 3 maps provided little challenge.
I only used one environmental knockout, I did not use any poisons. I did use the screwdriver five times on security vents in Chongqing, so that might upset some.
Overall, fun experience and I loved the challenge.
Not included is the most difficult kill in the entire run of all maps. Trying to figure out how to kill Tyson Williams by drowning him in his hot tub suit only, was crazy. There were times I was going to give up and find another way.
Turns out I was just being a fool. There’s a disguise with gloves where you can walk right in and it makes the target so much easier to kill.
I’m proud that I eventually found a way to do it, but feel like an idiot for making it so hard on myself.
And here’s Bangkok. I decided to redo this level to get a proper Morgan kill, It turned out much better. I need to thank Mr. Mavor for the Jordan kill, I don’t know if I would have been able to figure any other method on my own.
My only disappointment is that I had to use a disguise start. Even if I managed to kill Morgan suit only, I don’t know if it’s even possible to get to Cross without destroying any cameras.
Oh boy, now on to Colorado. I think I can do this suit only, I have some ideas I want to try out.
Nice run. Didn’t realize they had so many bombs laying about. Yours is much cleaner than mine, and you didn’t have to go through the garage a third time.
Hmm in this instance, as long as you’re shooting the stalactite with something so small like the 5mm pistol to drop on the virus, i think a bullet is fine here as it wouldn’t be found and again, they would just assume it fell as there would be too much debris and again, there wouldn’t be outside interaction with an investigation as Ether is very hush hush. And the location of where you would shoot this gun, it would be almost impossible to find any evidence that a gun was used.
So i think this way is acceptable.
Another nice run. I don’t know how I feel about leaving the briefcase behind to be found. I did the same in New York, but it was in the same place ICA left it for me. I assumed they would get it out. I forgot about the Tuk Tuk accident kill. That would have been a lot easier than the push.
We all get to decide what works for you and what doesn’t. I was determined not to use any bullets, because you can’t collect the fragments after, but Interpol or the FBI can. Is it likely they’d be found, probably not. But, with two deaths of the leads on this project and the project itself all dying on the same day, about the same hour, I suspect there would be a thorough investigation.
Again, where you shooting from, likely wouldn’t find any evidence, especially where the rock is falling from and crashing into. And again, it’s Ether, so i don’t believe interpol or the fbi would ever get involved.
