Can you ghost run all WoA maps?

For New York, you can actually get Perez’s disk without knocking him out, for Mann however, I have no idea. Do these ghost runs involve Silent Assassin? Because you could kill Mann and disguise it as a suicide.

Remember that Mann and Savalas where already doing shady bussiness in the bank, so you could trigger the meeting that makes Perez quit and handover his disk, then you give the incriminating documents to the journalist, the stock crashes and Mann and Savalas comit suicide before they get caught. Perez, who already knew about those shady practices will give credibility to the suicide hypothesis.

Having 3 of those things go missing clearly is a sign of foul play.

Mann dying invalidates SA though. The idea is to maintain it.

I say using that logic still maintains it. Just like jeff killing himself. I can’t remember if that maintains or loses SA, but the logic should keep it.

I think this could be categorized under “logical silent assassin”. Kinda the same logic as using the sniper guy in Mumbai to kill the targets for you.

But Mann doesn’t actually commit suicide. @Guillermo_Murillo is talking about killing Mann and making it look like suicide. That invalidates the rating. Only Blood Money allowed you to get away with that kind of thing.

Forget the actual SA rating for a second. Gameplay wise yes it negates it, but logically it shouldn’t. That’s what he is saying and i agree with.

Making it look like a suicide, Of course actually doing the necessary steps in making sure it actually looks like it and being able to not get caught in an investigation, shouldn’t negate the rating ‘logically’.

Yes, that’s exactly what I meant, it will negate SA, but it would fit the “leave no obvious signs that you were there” objective from the author, unless SA is strictly necesary for this challenge. Gameplay wise it won’t be SA, but “universe” wise it will.

From this point of view, you could technically use poison to kill them because that wouldn’t be considered “foul play” on this suicide narrative.

I’m sort of making this up as I go. I think you could try it once, but if it happens repeatedly that gets to be too suspicious. I’m trying to think like an investigator after the fact trying to piece together what happened.

I did not know that was an option, so thank you. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that. I’ll figure out how to trigger and watch what happens. I am going for Silent Assassin on every map, so I can’t kill Mann. Strange for a hitman to have an ethical code, but killing non-targets is a no-no. (He says knowing full well he’s going to let the blackmailer die in Miami).

I’m redoing both New York and Haven with your suggestions to avoid using poison. It worked great in New York. Haven … there’s a reason I didn’t want to redo that one. Getting to Tyson suit only to drown him in the hot tub is the hardest kill so far, and I’ve done every level up to Dubai. I’ll keep grinding it, but I like this idea.

Well damn, there goes the suicide thing then. If Mann can’t be killed then your best bet is to go along with the vault as anomie suggested. You can even put all the goldbars besides the robbers to further incriminate them :joy:

Just saw how to make Perez quit. First time. Trying to reschedule that meeting suit only would be a challenge. But that only gets me two of the drives. Maybe Mann having an accident with a banana peel or wet floor isn’t too much of a coincidence? I guess that’s as close as we can get.

This made me think, can you actually do a Ghost Run where you get his disk that way? I don’t think so. To get Perez to resign and hand over his disc to Mann and Savalas you typicially need to disguise yourself as IT, break the router and alter the meeting schedule in Savalas’ computer so Perez goes to the third floor… I don’t think any of that is Ghost-compatible as just getting the IT disguise alone breaks the rules of ghosting, same with tampering with the router and the computer. Honestly I also can’t remember if the IT disguise is necessary to interact with the computer in the first way. Even if it weren’t and you could alter it while Suit Only, Athenas’ office always has those two guards roaming it no matter what so it would be a bit difficult to do…

I did a run of Haven (somewhat) following your rules with the triple hut tub drowning and the Villa Staff disguise. It worked pretty well, getting to Tyson’s hot tub and doing that drowning was no problem.

I did have to bend the “must wear gloves” rule a little to drown the other two in the hot tub. I propped open a door to 47’s hut and called Vetrova, then switched into 47’s swimming outfit and attended the meeting while carefully not touching anything except the disguise itself (hence the door propping). Then back to the hut to switch back to the Staff outfit before making the second call to Vetrova. You can successfully attend the second meeting while disguised.

No idea, I haven’t tried yet. I’m going to drop two guns to get the guards out of the room and when Athena and her guard are gone, I’m hoping I can interact with the computer and change the schedule. But yeah, I can’t knock out an IT guy to get his outfit.

Please tell me you have a video of getting to Tyson with gloves on. I need help! My way works, maybe 1 out of 12 times doing it.

Last night I successfully drowned him, then got spotted by the guard in the hall as I was making my escape. Should have thrown a coin.

I have confirmed that you can reschedule the meeting suit only, so you don’t need the IT disguise. I haven’t completed it Silent Assassin yet, still working on the timing. Getting the disc and getting out of the room unseen before workers return is my next challenge.

I just checked Hitmaps, it appears there is no banana on the New York map. And I don’t think Mann walks near any of the slip zones. So again, I’m stuck.

Yes, as the author pointed out, you can reschedule the meeting suit only, I’ve done it and it’s not as hard as it sounds. One of the guards will follow Savalas into the mirror room so you only have to use a gun to get rid of the other guard. The timing could be very tight but it’s definitely possible.

The problem with this strategy is getting Mann’s disk.

You’re not allowed to bring items with you? I don’t see how bringing a banana to a bank could be suspicious.

If it was Freelancer I could bring a banana. I don’t remember a banana being part of my options in the main missions, or perhaps I just haven’t unlocked it yet. But my memory is terrible, so I’ll have to look.
