Well, if nothing else there is hope…iOi did say they have more levels to reveal after the six in the main game were all revealed…so it sounds like there will be substantial DLC. So that is promising at least. Plus if the main five levels of the game are really solid then I’m fine with it.
That’s not working anymore, they had time with the only focus on H3 maps, no new game modes nothing except VR
Now I wonder what was the point of showing or even coming up with the whole “second asylum” retcon if you’re not gonna use it as a level.
It could have been something of poetic justice to take down everyone that pulled the strings and led to to 47’s creation and existence in the very place where everything started. Oh well, maybe in Hitman Reloaded.
Agreed, such a waste of potential
The Asylum or the Bran Castle would have been a way better option
When and where they said that? Isn’t it just a rumor?
EDIT: Nevermind…apparently I was looking at an old article…not sure how I got that confused with the new article about the release details but apparently I did.
Yeah, reading the quote you’ve hidden under the pensil, it’s surely outdated, cuz we’ve got barely a few of they promised
To be honest I don’t think it’s all that terrible…five solid locations, a few new features, but they did deliver on some big time news with VR support. Beyond that they seem to have added some more challenges to some legacy maps and the sorts. The Carpathian level being potentially on rails with little to no replay value doesn’t detract much from all the good work they did. They just seem to have made a poorly advised partnership with Epic who are screwing all the prices and seem to have bitten off more than they could chew by self publishing and trying to release on all these new platforms at once on their own(Stadia, Switch via steaming, PSVR, etc.). Not surprising that they ended up with a lot of fires that now need putting out like missing localizations, confusion over Steam to Epic content, etc.
Well, yeah, apparently they’ve taken a lot more than they could handle, but if they decided on it, they apparently know what they’re doing. I won’t judge them on that or deeply dive into discussion on the subject, moreover this thread is not about that. I just say that I don’t understand their politics and approach, and can’t fully accept that. Especially about abandoning localizations.
But however, I want and will to play the game independetly on all that unagreement
You were able to unlock a few reskins (like this for example)
but default fiber wire always was unlocked
I translated it to ‘classic piano wire’ so if it’s a different variation, i don’t know
The one in the picture is named “classic fibre wire” but it doesn’t really look different
Ah you were 2 seconds faster
You could say the trilogy ended with Mendoza and this is just a bonus.
To be fair to IO, we have got 18 full size levels across the three games, which is consistent with the 6 we expected from each. Although they were dlc, I feel that NY and Haven compensate for how small NZ and Romania are
Damn it, it doesn’t look like there will be ET here.
The problem is that they announced 6 locations not 5 locations and one bonus mission…
it’s still 6 locations
That’s true I’ve made a similar complaint but ultimately I want to see if there’s even more possibilities with the locations we have than previous games.
Can someone can translate the requirement to English please? Thank you.
