Uhhh… so the trophy on PS4 for discovering all locations popped, but I only have 27/29 for the “Discover Chongquing” challenge. I don’t see any more icons on the map. Damn, bugged again!
I played through H3 before doing the carry over and I’m also pretty sure I’ve discovered some areas during the Lee Hong Escalation.
I don’t see anyone having that same bug on Chongquing… are there fixes from other locations that could apply here?
For Colorado, “exiting through the Bomb Shelter” is no longer required when playing in Destinations menu if you have already completed Colorado once in story.
Does the whole forced combat at the end of Chongqing also go away in Destinations if you have completed the mission in Story?
There is no forced combat at the end of Chongqing (Yes I know what you mean) but yes the core breach is optional for every subsequent play through. All cinematic entrances and exits are optional.
I mentioned it before, but it´s still mandatory if you replay the mission starting at the original starting position (train station). Otherwise yes, the whole core hack (+ combat) becomes optional.
Before H3 came out, I was hoping Chongqing wouldn´t be like Mumbai (I absolutely love Mumbai, just didn´t want Chongqing to be a mere conceptual “copy”). But after playing it, I wish it was more like Mumbai in certain ways
I really have no idea why, but I really seem to despise this location.
I was going through the process of banging out all the new challenges in H3, but for some reason I just wanted to skip Chongqing and go straight to Mendoza. And even once I finished Romania, I went to grinding the escalations and completing the occasional challenge from H1-2 that didn’t carryover before returning to Chongqing.
The location just feels… meh. It has some great visual elements, but it just doesn’t does appeal to me at all for some reason.
Yeah, there’s a mission story that gets Royce out. It’s also possible to do it by accident, as I did, lol
I did certain actions for fun and curiosity and realized that she left the facility. Listening to the conversation on why she left made me realize what exactly triggered it.
Yeah, I like Chongquing the least out of all the H3 missions. Playing the first time while just looking at the level and doing the two “obvious” story missions was fun. These are some horribly long story missions though. The mind control chair kill takes an incredibly long time to set up. The facility tour is probably also the longest story mission of all, but it does go through every single feature in that area, interestingly enough. Is it just me or does that opportunity gets even longer when hacking is not mandatory?
Thank god you don’t have to do the hacking every time.
Not certain if someone answered this already. To get hush down to check/reset the pods what I did was hit all of them within a period of time and the screens will change saying they need to be reset.
