To be fair, “does not include legacy titles” were for weeks the only words that were attached to this mysterious thing.
If they didn’t have the images of past games and the emphasis on the 25, they wouldn’t need to attach those words in the first place.
Regardless, it is some pretty cool artwork ![]()
Instead of releasing the same shit over and over again it would be better to implement a full game controller support with force feedback for H2SA, HC, HBM (and Freedom Fighters too). I am tired to edit config files for that shit.
So… Still no news? No new answers during their podcasts?
It’s ridiculous. I just wanna be able to play Hitman: Contracts on my PS4/PS5. Is that too much to ask? lol
Yeah this is getting ridiculous now. Just any clarification would be a start.
I suppose they’re keeping it secret until the 25th anniversary this November. I can see them springing it on us as a surprise, either on the day or on the roadmap leading up to it.
Well, IOI don’t plan on releasing them until 2026, however, I expect we could get some news on it at least by the anniversary in November.
@Combatglue today is Codename 47s 25th anniversary…any…announcements you wanna make?
What anniversary? Everyone knows Hitman began in March 2016.
For me it began in 2013-2015 from Absolution
He is on sick leave ![]()
For me, Hitman started in 2000
You didn’t hear? They’ve announced a remaster for Codename 47 but it’s only releasing on the Gameboy Colour. They said the community simply hadn’t asked for it enough to warrant a full release.
I’d buy that.

“Codename 47 wont be remastered” haha, what a funny and original joke, its the first time in the almost 10 years i’ve spent here someone came up with it.
I’ll nominate you for funniest member this year for sure ![]()
Do you think there’ll ever be a remake (remaster with control and QoL updates) done by a third party but endorsed by IO? Like the way the Crowbar Collective remade Half Life with Valve’s tacit approval
Honestly i wish IO would Nightdive Studios handle a Remaster instead of doing it themselves.
I dont have much trust left for IO getting it right nowadays.
